good for value. close to messe, close to downtown. clean hotel. staff is helpful.
pillows are too soft, you can't relax even with 2 pillows. blanket is very light weight. breakfast can be a bit more varieted.
staying here for 6 consecutive years for the expo. will stay again sure.

I stay more han 100 days per year in hotel rooms on business. I decided to stay at the Dusseldorf Holiday Inn Express. I was disappointed; the room was small, there was no free wifi (only free wifi available is in the reception area) and there was no restaurant. I had a beer at the bar and asked for peanuts; they offered none. I was directed to a vending machine.
I understand this is a franchisee, but it lowers the overall image of Holiday Inn when such hotels are using the Holiday Inn banner. I can not recommend it. They didn't even offer me a free bottle of water (Holiday Inn Express in France offer that to Priority club members).

We have stayed at this hotel many times. It is always excellent value with clean, comfortable rooms, good fresh breakfast and perfect transport links for the town centre, airport and surrounding areas.

The room wasn't very big for four people, but was comfortable and clean. The breakfast choice was varied.
WARNING TO ALL GUESTS - Keep your handbags/valuables on you at all times, as my handbag was stolen from the back of my chair by a guy who casually walked into the hotel and into the breakfast area, took the bag, some things from the buffet and then walked out of the hotel. This has caused me much distress and inconvenience, changing locks, getting new passports, new bank cards and arranging for our car to be brought back as the key was also in my bag! HI Express should be reviewing their security procedures, not just displaying signs that say 'Take care not to leave luggage unattended'!

Ich habe nun einige Male in diesem Hotel übernachtet und keines davon war ein zufriedenstellendes Erlebnis.
A) Die 2 Fahrstühle sind ständig defekt und wenn Sie funktionieren, sind sie sehr sehr langsam.
B) Die Lobby ist nicht ansprechend und auch der Empfang durch die Mitarbeiter lässt zu wünschen übrig
C) Der Frühstücksraum und die Atmosphäre im Frühstücksraum erinnert an Aufenthalte in Jugendherbergen.
Da ich in vielen HI Express übernachte und eigentlich vom Konzept begeistert bin, weiß ich wie gut andere Hotels dieser Kette sind.
Mit Abstand ist das HI Express in Düsseldorf Nord das lieblos geführteste Hotel was ich seit langem gesehen habe.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for 3 days while on vacation from the USA. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very small when compared to the US but comfortable. There were 3 of us in the room and we had limited space to move around since we had to use the sofa bed as the additional bed, otherwise it was a GREAT stay! Good value for the money especially when you include the FREE breakfast and a WELCOME beverage of your choice and FREE internet in the lobby!
Thanks to the staff for making our stay pleasant! Very much appreciated!
