Anytime myself or the family needs to stay in Dyersburg TN, the Holiday Inn Express is the place we choose. The staff is outstanding, and they are renovating the building and rooms and so far things look great.

We stayed for 2 nights and this hotel met all our expectations. Front desk staff was able to find a lower price than what I originally reserved it at, which was extremely helpful to us as we were in town for a wedding, and needed to save money wherever possible. They also offered fresh pancakes during the late evening hours which we all enjoyed and looked forward to.

Hotel is in the middle of remodel, so be prepared to get a room that is in process with construction and not complete.
Tile floor in the room was VERY dirty upon arrival. I arrived late and needed sleep, so elected to layout towels as stepping stones across the floor rather than trying to change rooms. The hotel is desperately in need of some quality control and cleanliness standards.

This Holiday Inn Express is currently under renovation. You are made aware of this as there is a sign that greets you at the front door. I stayed at this property for 2 weeks and in the same room both weeks. The first week, my A/C unit was leaking water onto the carpet. I called the front desk and maintenance came quickly to take care of it. The second week I spent in the room was very bad for my allergies. The room smelled moldy the whole week. I'm not sure if it was from the carpet being wet 2 weeks before. I did not tell management about the smell. My room was partially renovated. The first week, I noticed that the bathroom wallpaper was partially done. The 2nd week I stayed, the ceramic tile and tub surround had been changed. Since there are only 2 major hotel chains in Dyersburg, the option of staying at the other chain was not good either as that hotel was undergoing renovations as well. I also don't like the fact that guests had to stay in partially renovated rooms. This is my first experience staying at a property under renovation and I was actually in one of the rooms that was being renovated. I did not recommend this property due to the renovation. Once the renovation is complete, it will be a nice place to stay. The front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating.

We had a nice check-in experience.
We were happy to find a clean king size room
The motel is in rural atmosphere and quiet.
We found multiple choices of eating places on main street we entered Dyersburg on. That was especially helpful after driving 8-1/2 hrs. We have stayed at this motel several times and always enjoyed our stay..

The staff was ALWAYS very pleasant and seem to always go the distance to help us. Due to a death in my family we were physically & emotionally drained. The room was clean, updated, comfortable and very quite. The breakfast service was one of the best I've had in couple years. Updated to meet ALL my tech needs as well a big plus for me.

Place was great.....you can always count on HI for a great night's sleep. Only drawback was this HI was in the middle of remodeling, so things were not quite normal....but the service and beds which is why we were there, and they didn't disappoint! If traveling with dogs as we did, this is a perfect place.
