Room was clean. Breakfast was fresh and maintained. Fitness equipment was not high quality and in a small room. Soem equipment was not working.

And the pancake machine was broken.
The exercise room equipment was not very functional.
I expect these kinds of things to be fine at a Holiday Inn Express.

HI Express Dyersburg is a wonderful Hotel all my experiences were great. Check-in served to build my confidence and loyalty to HI Express - we were assigned to a room that did not appear to be completely cleaned. I returned to the desk and without question was reassigned to another room with an apology. These thing sometimes happen, HI Express handled in very well.

Very friendly staff helpful nice and clean hotel ,has been staying there at least six month on and off ,staff at reception are really helpful cleaning staff are very good at there job would recommend this hotel if your are in this area .

Hotel is new and clean. It offers all the amenities needed to get work done. There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel, but you need a vehicle to get to them. Staff was friendly and attentive. Rooms a large and easy to navigate.

Upon arriving at my room, I discovered that the light in the shower in my bathroom was flickering. I have a medical condition aggravated by flickering lights. I requested maintenance service from the front desk, but because it was after hours, they could not guarantee that it would be fixed, and the hotel was completely booked, so switching rooms was not an option. By the time I returned from dinner, the light was fixed. The rest of my stay was excellent, thanks to the great service of the Holiday Inn Express staff.

The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating in every way, the entire facility was clean with a very comfortable room. The only recommendation for the hotel is to view the facility from the interstate (which runs behind) and make some changes to make the facility have more appeal from that view.

We arrived around 8:30-9/pm for our 1-night stay here at this hotel and the evening (3-11) front desk young lady was so sweet. We were driving our street rod and asked if we could park it near the front and she was so accommodating, she moved her vehicle and requested us to park where she had been parked. She was so nice to do this for one night, we appreciated it very much. This service from an hotel employee was rare, one you can't find much these days! Our stay was very comfortable and we highly recommend this hotel to others. It was quite and clean. Thanks IHG!

I arrived in the early afternoon. Went in to the desk to register and imagine my surprise to find out, even though I had a confirmation number, that I was not registered. The young lady on duty, I believe her name was Miriam?, immediately informed me that I would be charged for a night if I couldn't rectify the crror. Which she volunteered to do. After a while. she was informed that I was registered in the Holiday Express in Baltimore, Md. This is about 3 miles from where I live. After more talk, the reservation was cancelled in Baltimore and transferred to Dyersburg, all was well. This particular staff person was most helpful and certainly saved me much aggravation. Employees such as she are to be treasured and certainly contribute to the reasons I choose Holiday Inn Express when traveling in my car.

I stayed for a week, and it was a very nice hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean, and most of the staff was very nice. The complimentary continental breakfast choices were almost identical Monday through Friday, but the offerings were still good.
I would certainly recommend this hotel for anyone in the area, whether for business or leisure!

We stopped here for one night while on a road trip. I was very glad to have a comfortable, quiet room with a refrigerator and a nice bathroom. Breakfast had plenty of choices, including salsa for my eggs. I will gladly stay here again!

Comfortable bed, nice people. However not enough selection of room if you use a wheelchair. Be prepared to not get a room unless you travel alone. No rooms have 2 beds and accomodate, only one roll in shower in the hotel and it only has one bed. SO if you travel with family be prepared to pay for 2 rooms.

The hotel was well positioned for quick and easy access to the town. I was greeted each morning as I left and each afternoon as I returned. My room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet.

Good pool size and clean.
Rooms were dusty but updated.
Bed was hardly comfortable.
Not expensive relative to regional options.
An elderly woman working at breakfast moved food around with her bare hands.
She refused to help us find out if a couple items had nuts in them. It was for a child with a nut allergy. The woman actually just walked away without attempting to help.

Overall, this hotel was a good place to stay because it is reasonably priced, clean, and comfortable. My only complaint was that my room smelled like cigarette smoke although the hotel is a smoke-free facility.

Desk Clerks (Night and Day) were not helpful in a very rude manner.
Made me resolve not to stay there again. They need customer communication training. You can convey the same ideas in a positive manner that makes the customer still feel valued and helps them understand a situation. The overall stay would have caused me to have a return booking if it had not been for desk clerks. The rest of the staff were fine and pleasant.

I love the hotel building and that its where it is, but the staff is a little cold. No one smiles at this place unless its a forced smile. The breakfast area leaves a lot to be desired, but the lady is out and out frigid. The front desk staff "plays" the game but the breakfast lady leaves NO doubt. The last day I was there they were out of pretty much everything in the breakfast area. When any guest inquired with the hostess with the mostest, she was CHARM FREE. She definitely lets you know she is NOT friendly. I am thinking that this is not a good place for her to be working. Maybe the laundry??? The front desk staff forces a smile and I think there is a "head" desk person there that cracks the whip. You get the feeling that rules and rigid conformance to the rules are more important than actual true friendliness. The hotel is nice and it is clean, but you get the distinct impression that the front desk people are on edge. Like if they cross this person they are in big trouble. I really feel kind of bad for the girls that work there because of tension. You can feel it. Someone needs to change the manager of the front desk people
