Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by shley90 amazing staff!
I usually arrive late at night during my stay at Eagle, and coming from Denver, it's a long drive at night. Eddy is always very personable and social when I walk in which is nice when you're checking out. During the day, Joel is always keeps a great attitude. I almost always lock myself out of my room and we just joke about it every time (I travel here nearly every weekend). I come here for work, but I have another job at a Hotel in Denver, so when I forgot my toothpaste at home, it was great to find out that they'll give you any travel sized toiletries you forgot for free. That's very different for me. This hotel is awesome! And the staff is great. The breakfast is good, internet is fast, very comfortable bed. I strongly recommend this hotel. :)

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by efr3146 Hotel should not be a Holiday Inn Express
On this trip we had stayed at numerous Holiday Inn Express hotels with great satisfaction (see your records on this.) but this hotel was completely unsatisfactory. Our room should have been a closet and not a room and the arrangement of furniture and equipment was ridiculous. We could not even walk around the bed without moving furniture. Pictures were taken to substantiate this absurd arrangement and one is attached. The room was far too small to qualify as a Holiday Inn Express room ; had no functional desk and the refrigerator was placed against one side of the bed such that lying in bed, one's face was against the side of it. This should not be a Holiday Inn Express, it degrades the entire system. It was also one of the most expensive of the hotels we stayed in which made the cost per comfort level the worst of our experiences in many hotels over the last years.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mary927 Front Desk Joel was great
We were traveling through, so just needed good night's sleep and breakfast. The first room given had quite a pronounced and sour smell. Front desk Joel was great and switched us to a top/3rd floor room. That room smelled clean. Love the Holiday Inn Express pillows, sheets, comforter. One bed was firmer than the other, so we switched in the middle of the night. Lots of mirrors and places to plug in. The bathroom was small but clean and quite adequate. Breakfast was attended by a sweet gal and had all the normal Holiday Inn Express items that we like. I especially like the hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, bananas, bagels with cream cheese. The view from our room was beautiful, especially the sunset. I thought the valley view might be noisy, since we were looking across I-70 to the town of Eagle below. But we were not bothered by noise at all. Location is quite convenient, once one figures out the round-a-bouts. We had dinner at the Eagle Diner. Great.

Enjoyed our stay at the Eagle Holiday Inn Express. Number 1 on our list is cleanliness and this met our expectations. Nice spa and pool and good internet access. We would stay again.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DenverDaniel Not what we expected
We are big Holiday Inn Express patrons...kiddos call it the Green H, we love the hotels.
This hotel in Eagle being the exception. We had booked and expected two suites with two queens, pull out sofa...actual room. What we walked into was a cramped room with maybe two full size beds and zero room to even add a roll away. There was a very large intrusive table set in the room that made it extremely difficult to walk between the beds and itself.
When we tried to remedy this, the staff while friendly, could not accommodate. We found out when we were there that there is only one suite in all of the hotel, though we booked two. So, what was booked was not even available.
Since there was one suite available we were going to let one of our groups have it...only to find out we could only have it for 1 of the two nights.
So, we stayed put because there were literally no other options. The tub was plugged, the space was cramped, the walls were thin...we heard everything including a dog barking most the night. Yes, animals were allowed, though it was not stated obviously anywhere, which made it rather miserable for someone with severe allergies to animals. The pool was tiny...its possible our tub was larger.
Quite honestly, we will never stay here again.
