The hotel is very clean and is close to a lot of food options within walking distance. There is ample well lit parking. I had a suite for my business stay and the room was smartly appointed and kept immaculate. The morning breakfast was very convenient and I was greeted warmly by all staff.

This location is ideal for us when we visit our grand-children. It gives us a good night rest without disturbing our daughters household. We often invite our grandchildren to our room and take them swimming which they absolutely love.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms and entire facility are clean and in good shape. We have stayed here many times and will continue to do so in the future.

We traveled to Syracuse to do some shopping and spent two nights at this HIE. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was also friendly and hospitable.
The hotel is also well located near shops and restaurants.

I was unimpressed with the beds. Each bed in my room had some sort of plastic mattress pad that crinkled, made noise, and felt like laying on a piece of plastic. Plus it made me get really hot at night..

Just two weeks before we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in E. Greenbush and the staff, the breakfast, the room and the hospitality was outstanding. The price was alot better than DeWitt.
I think DeWitt could learn some lessons from Greenbush.

We stay at this hotel once a year. Great location, great breakfast and a very clean hotel. We thoroughly enjoy staying here. This year we stayed the weekend of October 27-28 2012. The hotel was filled with a High School Marching Band....high school students....high school students. The halls were filled all afternoon/evening/the next morning with loud teenagers which made our stay extremely unpleasant, unrelaxing and overrall, very difficult. Everywhere we went, there were loud, obnoxious teenagers. Breakfast the next morning was also a challenge. I waited in line for 20 minutes to get a coffee...20 minutes. Just as I was about to leave the 20 minute line up and go back to my room, a high school teacher SCREAMED at the top of her lungs for the high school students to move along and allow others to get through the lineup. I don't know what was worse...waiting in the unnecessary line up or being in a room where the teens were being screamed at.
Our stay on this weekend was not pleasant.

The breakfast was good, the coffee great.
Cookies in the evening were good.

Hotel was easy to find with good safe parking. Location was great for me and Wegmans was near by. Staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean. I enjoyed my stay.

I have stayed several times at this HIE, but this was the first time I was alone. Felt very safe and secure with the usual helpful staff. It is a ways from my destination, but that makes it quieter. Next time I want to explore the area past the hotel, Dewitt, I think. Maybe some interesting stores and restaurants? Lots of retail has grown up around this hotel since my first stay in 2009 or 2010. Great breakfast, and very clean.

This hotel was located just a few miles from our destination. It was very clean, comfortable and we always enjoy our stay at the HIE. We would stay here again.

My daughter and I had a marvelous stay at the Holiday Inn Express Dewitt (Syracuse). The front desk clerk was more than helpful at check-in. In the morning, the breakfast was, as always for Holiday Inn Express, fabulous. I would like to bring to your attention the extraordinarily warm and helpful Jeannine of the breakfast staff. She went out of her way to greet us, ask about our stay, give us a little helpful information about the area...in short, she was amazing! The front desk staff in the morning were also quite helpful with directions to our destination as the interstates were ALL under construction!
Overall, this was perhaps one of my best experiences at a Holiday Inn Express!

I have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express twice now while visiting our daughter who is a student at Syracuse. The hotel is an easy <10 minute drive from campus. The area is quiet, and the hotel is quiet too. The beds are comfortable, the carpets, bathrooms, etc. are clean and new. In the evenings the hotel welcomes guests with cookies or snacks and bottled water. The rates are on the higher end of my budget, but I've found Syracuse hotels not on the cheap side.
