Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not many other options, but decent nonetheless There aren't many options in Eastland, so we picked this hotel. The rooms were pretty nice. The only issues I had were the breakfast was mediocre and the cabled internet didn't work. Otherwise, it was a good choice. August 29, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel was decent Hotel was relatively new. Wireless internet in room was very bad, to non-existent. Air conditioning kicked on and off, making it difficult to get comfortable due to the extreme heat. When it was on, it was comfortable, but when it was off, it was not. Since hotel was fairly new, it was mostly clean. Could use some detailed cleaning to keep it that way, however, such as wiping down the doors in the bathroom and walls in the room when things are splattered on them. With all that said, overall, it was not a bad stay, it was an okay stay. Staff at front desk was super nice. We will likely stay again when in the area. August 25, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable hotel Comfortable large room Eggs at breakfast were bad. Poor selection Quoted room price via corporate customer service but charged a higher price at checkout. Clerk would not correct to price quoted. Clerk said that the hotel was privately owned and that Holiday Inn corporate does not know their rates. Terrible answer for customer satisfaction. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding Customer Service I would have never thought that we would have such a pleasant experience in a small town that what we experienced. It started at checkin and ended with paying my bill. The GM of the hotel has the best attitude and is the most friendliest customer service oriented GM I have ever experienced as a valued IHG member. Thanks for such a wonderful experience..... The gentleman working graveyard shift dropped what he was doing when I asked for fresh coffee in the lobby. I had such a great experience.... July 29, 2014
