Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just as good second time. This was our second stay in a month. We liked this hotel the first time and it was just as good the second time. We will come back again. It has everything we want when traveling. The friendly, courteous, professional staff is icing on the cake. We have always felt very welcome. August 1, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad Service and Terrible WiFi The hotel was not what i expected. it looked like a bar with low light and blue LED lights. The personel was rude. The most terrible thing was the Internet. I was not able to get a connection in my stay. I needed the internet for work. July 31, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel for the money HI Express and Suites is a good location and hotel just outside of Bethlehem and Crayola Factory. While the hotel offers a great place to stay the breakfasts can be outright cold. Just about everything for breakfast except the pancakes and coffee was cold or room temperature. Something most HI Expresses have done well this location has not. How can something as simple as this be so hard to do. Most of the food is prepared before hand. Also the WIFI is almost non existent. If you find it you can't use it because you cant connect. Bring a network cable with you for your room to plug into the port. July 29, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Overpriced I reserved two rooms the day before with my credit card. Upon check-in, I was told I was "lucky" to have arrived before 6:00 or they would have given my room away. I told the front desk I had a confirmation number and she insisted I did not. She then proceeded to tell me the other room was checked into, but she could not put my two rooms together, because they weren't confirmed. The air conditioning in the room did not work properly; adjusting the temp setting did not work. The room became unbearably hot and we could not sleep. The shower had some mold/mildew. Wifi in the room was sporadic. The breakfast was adequate, but for the cost I would have stayed in a less expensive hotel and gone to a restaurant. The senior discount was zero and a senior breakfast would have been a lot cheaper elsewhere. The senior discount only allows you to book without a deposit. In fact, booking 9 days in advance is a cheaper rate. Finally, Beware of the horrible entrance/exit right below the hotel. You must go slow, because it is a HUGE bump. Stay across the street at another hotel. It's half the price. July 29, 2015

Comfortable accommodations and pleasant service, however, my 3-star rating for room cleanliness was due to the significant amount of mildew on the bathroom shower tiles. Actually, it was quite jarring to pull back the shower curtains for the first time and see black grime on the walls (gross). A daily dose of Tilex is probably all it needed, but somehow this part of the cleaning was overlooked. Otherwise, the beds were comfortable and the room was spacious and accommodating. July 24, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Customer Service When we arrived at 10:30 Pm. Rupi behind the counter was having a difficult time checking us in. She ran our card, said no it was declined. My husband said run it again there is plenty of money. She did and it didn't work. My husband ask for a manager and she told us no one was available, it was only her. So my husband gave her a new card and it didn't work. So he said there must be something wrong with the way you are doing it and she replied very rude and insulting us "no, The lady card before you worked fine." My husband told her to get someone else. So she said her supervisor was on her way. The supervisor took the card after she got there with no sense of urgency or friendliness herself. Rupi started defending herself and talking over my husband when he was explaining what was going on. On the first try of running card the supervisor got it to work. Rupi needs some training on how to do her job and how to be respectful to her customers. We will never visit this hotel again. All the employees we encountered gave us the impression they hated their job and it made us feel like we shouldn't spend our money with this hotel chain. July 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff We were traveling on business and had to vacate one hotel and move to this HIE. Stephanie---the front desk clerk---allowed us an early check in (before Noon) and upgraded us to a suite. Hotel is light and airy; parking lot clean and open; staff all friendly and helpful; breakfast had plentiful choices. We love this hotel chain! July 23, 2015
