Pasamos a visitar el Festival en Edimburgo y nos alojamos en este hotel. Es muy central así que pudimos desplazarnos fácilmente por la ciudad. La atención del personal fue la mejor posible. Excelentes políticas de cuidado ambiental. :D

We came to Edinburgh for our first Royal Tattoo. Prices were high during this time period, but I found that to be the case when I researched the area. The hotel was convenient to the Royal Mile, good pubs, and shopping. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful as to local activities. We especially enjoyed being able to walk easily to the Castle and to other historical places along the Mile. Great stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

The beds were so soft I awoke with a stiff back. The staff was very helpful and friendly and got us into a family room before the normal check in time but, we felt odd being put in the accessible room when we did not require it.

Staff when i checked in were so friendly and helpful. I had been travelling all day, had a problem because the bus driver would not let me off the bus on Princes Street as i had luggage in the hold. That meant i was unsure of which direction to go to the hotel from the bus station. Staff did their very best to guide me over the telephone and did not to rush me when giving me details.

My wife and I had a great time in Edinburgh thanks, in part, to the nice hotel staff. We arrived early and they recommended fabulous tourist options. Every place we wanted to go was in walking distance--Edinburgh Castle, the observatory, Author's Seat, the Royal Mile, etc.. We needed assistance several times, and the staff (Anne-K and Aggie especially) were understanding and helpful. Our only disappointment was slow WiFi, but I don't count that against them since this seems to be a standard at many of the hotels we visit. Breakfast had a wide variety of food --on par with the two local cafes we visited. We would have saved some money had we woken earlier and eaten at the hotel. We would happily recommend this hotel to others due to its great location, its comfortable accommodations, and its fine staff.

Location is great and so are staff but bring earplugs if you want to avoid slamming doors at 5am.
At a premium price during the festival they could have forked out some bacon for breakfast!!!

The hotel has a great city-centre location within easy walking distance of all the major attractions of Edinburgh, but with the downsides common to central Edinburgh hotels . The hotel is squeezed into a small site so lobby space is limited; the area can be a bit noisy during the Festival; and the only parking is an expensive public car-park a short distance away. We also found the Wi-Fi very slow, to the point of being unusable.
