It was ideal for an early flight and quick and equally convenient on our return. The hotel offered what we expected. The room was fine and the hotel was surprisingly quiet. Outstanding breakfast, even for those who have to leave the hotel early to catch a flight. Airport shuttle bus is reasonably priced and quick to the departure lounge. Great place to stay. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Hotel, but could other guests please be quiet... 3rd visit to this hotel and will continue to stay here as long as we are flying from Edinburgh Airport. Hotel is very clean, fresh, modern and welcoming. Staff are very friendly. Restaurant is of a very good standard for a 'pit stop' sort of hotel. Room was once again very spacious, comfortable, clean and fresh. Bathroom is very clean and modern with an excellent shower! Only small gripe is the noise that some other guests make when they are returning to their room late at night. We had a very early rise so were in bed with lights out by 11pm, had both fallen asleep before a group of people (only maybe 3 or 4) passed the room talking quite loudly and then chatting before going into their rooms and letting their doors close loudly. The hotel does have signs up asking guests to respect the other guests sleeping and to be quiet after 8pm (I think), but the message obviously didn't get across to these guests. We had to get up at 3.30am, so it was a bit disturbing for us. Can't blame the hotel for this, and it's not happened before, but could the hotel make their signs a bit more obvious in some way? Would still recommend this hotel despite this. May 18, 2016
