Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This hotel operating under heavy construction! The hotel was an absolute mess. I have stayed at so many IHG hotels in the past and this is the worst of them all for sure. Actually this is the worst hotel stay I have ever had. This hotel is a joke! My story started at the lobby, where it sounded like someone had dropped a bomb in it. It was under complete construction. I then go to check in and the receptionist ignore my IHG status, October 26, 2014

The breakfast room was large and well stocked, lots of choices and dishes, cutlery all there. October 26, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by An unpleasant stay Check in is at 3:00pm. I arrived after 5:30pm and after I was thanked for being a platinum member, I was told I could leave my bags in storage, but that my room would not be ready for AT LEAST 30 minutes followed by a string of platitudes which, rather than placate, only added to the frustration. Thankfully I missed most of it since I could not hear much over the sound of construction going on in the lobby. I was told I could wait in the lobby - or what looked like a lobby (a sofa in front of plastic tarps shielding guests from the dust) I drove for hours, after a long day of work, timed so that I could arrive, check in to my room, finish work and hopefully rest. That was not to be. After waiting for over 30 minutes for my room, I went back to the front desk to ask how much longer, and I was left with the impression they had forgotten I was there and once again I was asked for my name. I was less than impressed. I got to my suite and tried to get over the disappointing episode at check in. However, after logging in to use the Internet and finish my work, I found that the connection was restricted to the point where none of the websites I needed to access worked because of the restrictions placed. I have never experienced this at any other location. Needless to say, at that point I was done! In the past, the only time when my room was not ready, I received a call from the staff to tell me about it in advance, going over and above to ensure I would not be inconvenienced. In the morning, I checkout early after deciding to find myself another hotel room as far away from this property as I could get. October 25, 2014

Room was clean and quiet. Would have liked a few extra outlets, as there were a few of us trying to get ready at the same time. October 24, 2014
