Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Home Run After experiencing a very bad stay in another hotel in Edmonton, i searched out a hotel near by. I was very unfamiliar with the Edmonton area, but after calling the Edmonton North Holiday Inn Express, I felt a huge relief and reassurance. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The staff went out of their way to say "Hello" and ask you how your day was going. It was truly as good as home. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were well equipped. Travelling always on business, this hotel has all the amendities. After a long day, you can relax in the pool or hot tub,go next door to the gym or walk to a nearby restaurant. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, who likes to be looked after on every repeat visit. I would say this hotel " Hits a Home Run." Bill C. May 10, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Awesome Staff My wife and I just recently stayed at this Holiday Inn Express. We were treated with the best service that we have had staying at a hotel in quite a long time. The staff were courteous and very accommodating. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable. The best part of our stay were the ladies who worked at front reception. They made you feel welcome right from the get go. They seemed like they enjoyed their jobs and were very friendly and courteous. They had personality. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Service and noise As you can see from above other then the nise from the trains constantly going by the room was excellant, after changing rooms to the cront of the hotel I was very satisfied. As for sevice the low mark is not because of service while staying at hotel but for after check out, my receipt was ready due to change of rooms they only had a one night invoice for me, the last, i left my email address on Thursday and phoned the hotel on Friday afternoon because I still had not recieved my copy and had to leave my email address again. I waited all weekend and still no invoice, I had to call again on Monday morning to ask for my invoice and again I had to leave my email address this time I did not hang up until the email was sent. Not very good follow up service for a Platinum card holder. Otherwise I would have rated this hotel higher. April 22, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Thank goodness they fed me During our recent stay of four nights, the housekeeping left a toilet paper roll on the floor from Thursday morning until Sunday morning after they changed it. There was a toque (hat) under the heater in the room from a previous customer. This should have been caught if the chambermaid vacuumed right to the walls versus only in the center of the room. Our room was not vacuumed at all during our stay, so this issue was not going to be caught until atleast after our departure. Only upon arrival and on our last day were the bathroom consumeables replaced / refilled. On the last night of our stay, there was loud music from another customer. The security came up immediately after our phone call and dealt with the noise which was greatly appreciated. What was not appreciated was the phone call from the front desk 10 minutes later letting us know that the noise complaint was dealt with. We were very aware that the noise was shut off as it was quiet and had finally started getting some sleep when the phone rang waking us up again making for a very long drive home the next day with only a few hours sleep. I had mentioned to the housekeeping department to please pay a little more attention after the first day we noticed the lack of vaccuuming and lack of replacing the bathroom items. I didn't want to specifically point out the deficiencies as I was hoping that they would put in a little extra effort. It was very disappointing to say the least. I usually enjoy staying at your hotel but I feel the quality of the service has decreased since my last visit. The location is great for us as it is a quick trip to Northlands in the morning for the show and I really do enjoy the breakfast. Sorry to say negative things online but I have been trying to complete survey and can not access the link. April 4, 2013

The very special experience was the wonderful staff person (Kathy) that checked us in. I could not say enough how great our experience was because of her kindness and special treatment we recieved at such a late hour April 4, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Superior staff - warm welcome I have stayed at this hotel several times; the staff and management are definitely a cut above norm. The rooms are quite clean and inviting. The one downside (as is at most Holiday Inn Express) is the poor quality of the breakfast. Microwaved sausages and eggs do not cut it for me. Spice up the breakfast Holiday Inn! March 12, 2013
