Staff was great! Had to go to El Centro on business and this hotel was a breath of fresh air. Clean with a great staff.

I have enjoyed HIX all over the country and this particular unit had the best breakfast spread of them all. The person running the food lot was on the spot, made the presentation clean and solidly stocked. Her presence was friendly and obviously conscientious. If there is one reason to stay at this HIX, it would be for the food!! I truly appreciate her efforts and hope that the boss gives her due rewards.

We had a very good experience at your hotel. Staff very pleasant.
Quiet room and very clean. Excellent maid service.Also parking area and front of hotel spotless. Lobby very nice. Coffee 24 hours.A plus.
Breakfast and snack nicely done. Eating area was the best we have experienced.
The only downfall was that the pool was not warm enough.

I can't say there was anything really special about the hotel, except I found the staff very helpful. The hotel is fairly modern and very clean.
The only real negative about our stay was the bathroom fan noise. The fan came on automatically when the light was turned on. It was really irritating. In fairness to the hotel, I didn't complain, so I don't know if it's an issue with every room.

This was a clean, fresh and very comfortable place and the breakfast options made it a great deal. Beds were good and we particularly liked having both "firm" and "soft" pillows from which to choose. Would definitely stay here again.

This is my third stay at Holiday Inn Express in El Centro and every visit has been first class. The staff are all extremely efficient and helpful on the front desk, nothing is too much trouble for them and further staff also added to a fine experience. It has the feel of a family run hotel and the ladies who serviced my room were just great. The cleanliness of the hotel is second to none, the mattress was perfect and linen always fresh, along with great air con (as it can get hot) and endless hot water for regular showers. The hotel provided a comp breakfast which was fresh and adequate, I recently stayed at a Holiday Inn without a comp breakfast and paid $20 for a breakfast not half as good as here. There were also snacks on a mon-Thursday evening from 5-7pm and they were delicious and fresh, this is the first hotel I've stayed at who provide this service and again it was a very pleasant touch. Overall, three amazing stays made me feel at home when working in El Centro, thank you very very much to all staff. 5**********

The drain in the sink was in need of repair. The house keepers should find that when cleaning the room and report it to be repaired before a guest finds it not working corectly
