Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient Location - Bad Wireless The location in downtown El Paso was very convenient in terms of freeway access, and local restaurants. The only issue I had with the property was at the Wi-Fi Internet access was a really poor. I struggled to stay connected, and when the connection was stable it was extremely slow. Unfortunately, this is critical for me, since I was there on business and needed to stay connected. January 19, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Hot in room!!!! I stayed in room 510 and the first thing I do when I get into hotels is turn the air down. So I set it at 65 and gave it an hour and the thermostats still read 75+ degrees. So then I cut it down to 60 and the thermostats still read 75+ degrees. It did not cool down all night. The other person and I could barely sleep it was so hot in the room. Some people like warm rooms but we do not. Couldn't hardly sleep and had to continue driving in the morning. Will not be staying at this resort again. January 17, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Had Another Good Night In HIX We stayed in a very comfortable room in a great location. The only problem was the breakfast. The servers fell a little behind and some food items ran out without any real reason. It was somewhat crowded, but the servers could easily have anticipated the needs and had the food prepared. Other than that in was very nice. We try to stay exclusively in HIX as we travel because they are very consistent across the nation. This unit is no different. I would recommend without reservation.
