The problem had more to do with the location of the receiver than the euipment itself. i could not change channels lying down on bed. January 30, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by business Stay 1 week Overall the hotel is a good choice, centrally located and good value, lots of food choices nearby. There are a few minuses but mostly good. It rained the entire time I was there and coming from the parking lot on the north side of the building you cannot walk around the big puddle to access the front of the building. In all the years I have stayed here you would think someone in thier staff would have spoken up about this problem. I myself have mentioned it numerous times, who wants to wade and drag your luggage through a deep puddle so that your clothes get wet? Heater made a loud noise each time it cycled back on. Beds are terrible, sloping on all sides, even in the middle and this hotel has recently been remodeled, but dont' think they changed the beds! Would be nice if the bathroom door stayed open vs auto closing ( this is done as a fire precaustion ) but there could be a door stop for those who want to hear the news as they are getting ready in the morning. Also I hate that the housekeeping staff takes your soap and leaves a new bar for you when you have one day left. I have used the same bar for 4 days and then they take it away, waste of money for the hotel and bad for the enviroment. If they drilled a few small holes into the soap holder in the shower the water would drain out and the soap would not deteriorate as quickly, thus lasting much longer. January 25, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Plusses and minuses Facility looks nice, albeit a bit outdated in the color scheme. Nice that bathroom vanity is outside the bathroom door, so one can use the sink while another showers, but the vanity lighting was inadequate. Lighting around the room however was excellent. Reading lamps on the headboards were very convenient. Pillowcases were labeled Firm and Soft, but even the Firm did not offer much support, nor did the mattress. Very difficult to get comfortable. Sliding closet doors interfere with closet accessibility and are noisy. People upstairs were walking around with heavy footsteps between midnight and 2 a.m. and repeatedly sliding the closet doors back and forth, which interfered with our sleep. For the price, it was a nice looking facility, but overall, not as comfortable as we would have liked. January 19, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Safe, clean, comfortable Concerning breakfast, the sausage and eggs, for example, would have been better if they had been warm. The selection was extensive. I especially enjoyed the mixed nuts and raisins. Coffee was good. Self serve was better, in this instance, than a regular restaurant because service was quicker this way. January 9, 2016
