We were always greeted as we entered or left. Comfortable bed, clean room and a joy to stay there. CClose to all services.

I stay at this Holiday Inn Express when I am in Sacramento on business. I feel that the price compared to other Holidays is so much more expensive....I guess that is because it is located in California....sorry everything is MORE expensive in California. So if Holiday knows the customer HAS TO PAY MORE because they are located in California.....what extra can you OFFER the customer to "even" the playing (paying) field?

I enjoyed staying at this property; great location great selection of restaurants within walking distance. I would recommend and would stay again if in the area! The coffee at the breakfast area could be stronger, too much like tea. Possibly a two choices of coffee may be able to satisfy guests. As with other properties a better selection of HD channels would be an improvement.

Every Holiday Inn I have stayed at has been above excellent until our stay at this motel. We flew in from Wisconsin, arriving at midnight to find a party going on in one of the rooms down the hall from checkin couter. The doors were open at the party room with the music extremely loud thumping all the way down to the check in counter. There were people hanging out all over in the front lobby leaving no where for my disabbled mother to find a seat while I checked us in. Thank goodness our rooms were quiet and excellent. But in the morning, the breakfast area had all the same people at breakfast. We could not get in to get food, and once again my mother had nowhere to sit. She had a walker and no one offered her a seat. Maybe it's not the motels fault. Maybe the people of Elk grove are just a little uncaring to the elderly, But it ruined our short stay on our long trip home.

This was my first time staying here. I don;t have anything negative to say about this hotel. The buffet is great the rooms are great, just a very enjoyable stay .

Located in a great area with plenty of other services around. Room was clean and updated. Chase lounge very nice to relax and flat screen TV a plus. We would stay there again.

Nice, clean hotel. Registration took too long as there was a line and only one person behind the counter. Check out was quick.
Breakfast was the same old HI fare. A change would be nice or adding additional items such as the pancakes that were added, but they were not very good.
There was a limited channel selection and way too many ESPN stations.
There is a large choice of restaurants located close by. In N Out across the freeway.
Will have stayed here several times and will stay again when we travel through the area.

Excellent HIE with very good value for services received. Good food service available and additional excellent restaurants in very close proximity (walking distance). Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

First of all I love your location, your staff is very good, your rooms are clean and comfortable. However, I stay at your Hotel for business and your internet connection no longer allows me to logon to my Corporate VPN. This is a big issue for me because as I said, I stay at your Hotel for business purposes. Therefore, it is doubtful I will continue to use your Hotel.
Just so you know, I will recommend your hotel to people I know, but I will inform them of same issue.

There was some misunderstanding about the room number and someone checking out of my room. I found this out after my key would not work. Despite the DO NOT DISTURB - RESTING sign, housekeeping went in the room based on the information about "checking" out. The disappointing part of the situation was that even though it was obvious that someone was still in the room and had not checked out based on all the equipment, clothes and toiletries on the counter and yet housekeeping made the bed, cleaned the bathroom and moved my things around.
It would have seemed that housekeeping would have left everything in place and the hotel had a contact number.
It was just alittle troublesome knowing someone had been in the room when I requested quiet.

I was so impressed that the house keeping staff had the time to be with family on Thanksgiving, by cleaning from 8:00 am to 2:00pm. I will continue to book at this hotel each time I am in the area. Great place to stay.

I stay at this particular Holiday Inn Express whenever I visit my dad in Elk Grove. The staff is always welcoming, the rooms always clean, the beds always very comfortable. Unfortunately this past weekend I chose to park in the spot nearest my room and unknowingly under the drippiest tree on the planet. When I went out to my car in the morning it was completely covered with thick, brown, sticky splotches. Sadly I had left my windows cracked and the sap had dripped on the interior inside as well as down the crack of the windows. I promptly informed the male employee at the front desk and he replied, "The world is full of dripping trees....don't park under trees." All I wanted was to suggest they post a notice near the exit doors that several of the trees surrounding the building were extremely drippy and to avoid those parking spots. Live and learn.

I was in Sacramento for a family gathering and it was easier to stay in a nearby hotel. The amenities and comforts that I found at this facility will certainly have me coming back. My room was spacious, very clean and well appointed. The breakfast was amazing! I found everything I needed, and found that if I had forgotten anything, such as my toothbrush, the hotel would have provided that for me as well. There was coffee anytime I wanted in the lobby, fresh cookies available in the afternoon, fresh apples if I needed a quick snack. I felt not just like a number, but like a very valuable guest. I know that next time there is a family reunion, I will certainly be coming home to my Holiday Inn Express, Elk Grove, East!
