The check in staff was very friendly and made us feel at home. Breakfast was great and morning staff was also very attentive. We will be back at this hotel whenever we return to the Elkhart area.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Sheridan6 Holiday Inn Express in Elkhart IN is adequate
My husband and I have turned to RVing for the most part as it is more convenient, comfortable, and we can take our pets. We got tired of average beds/bedding, small televisions, high prices for very average accommodations. We don't like having to load and unload our "stuff". We don't like waiting on elevators. The amenities don't mean much to us. We don't eat the breakfasts, we don't use the gym as we prefer outdoor activities. A good internet is important. RV parks are quieter than hotels. We are nearing retirement and will be traveling more and more. When we are stateside we really, really like the RV experience. Is it cheaper - no. Is it nicer - absolutely. I think you are going to see a lot of seniors abandoning conventional traveling and staying at hotels for RVing. And people love their pet families.

This hotel is located in the right spot near shopping, restaurants and the 80/90 Toll Rd. The staff is outstanding, I know my stay will always be comfortable and quiet. Enjoy the complimentary cookies and popcorn. It is no wonder why this hotel sells out first among all the others on hotel row.
This is the best place to stay

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by AJ69 No desk in room!
I was there on a business stay and was surprised to find a high, 4 legged table in the room instead of a desk. There was also no desk or office type chair. It's unacceptable to have this arrangement when you have business people staying in a hotel and need to use their laptop to do word processing, etc.
The table surface is chin high when you sit in the provided kitchen chair to try to do some work. I called the front desk to request a room suitable to do business type work in that had a desk and was told that all rooms were pretty much the same as far as furniture goes. Also, the area where the table was did not have a lamp or table lamp.
Other than the above work support furniture, the room was fine.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Eukla1989 Should have been nicer
On the high end for a Holiday Inn. For the money I paid for the room, it should have been updated more. Breakfast could of had more selection.
