We enjoyed the parking and the shuttle bus service during our quick stop over in Albany. The bed and pillows were great. The only downside was that the bathroom was small which made it difficult for the 2 of us to be in there at the same time.

Staff here was very friendly, but the downside was with the room itself. I guess I got stuck with a troublesome room. First the heater/air conditioning unit was very noisy at night and had to be jostled to quite down several times. Secondly, the shower did not have hot water for two of the three mornings I was there. This was very disappointing in my eyes. I hope they can get these fixed before I have to stay there again...

Usually stay at another chain. Holiday Inn was suprisingly clean and very quiet. Had to change the reservation at the last minute and that wasn't a problem. Definitely would stay here again.

The check in staff was very friendly and made us feel at home. Breakfast was great and morning staff was also very attentive. We will be back at this hotel whenever we return to the Elkhart area.

My husband and I have turned to RVing for the most part as it is more convenient, comfortable, and we can take our pets. We got tired of average beds/bedding, small televisions, high prices for very average accommodations. We don't like having to load and unload our "stuff". We don't like waiting on elevators. The amenities don't mean much to us. We don't eat the breakfasts, we don't use the gym as we prefer outdoor activities. A good internet is important. RV parks are quieter than hotels. We are nearing retirement and will be traveling more and more. When we are stateside we really, really like the RV experience. Is it cheaper - no. Is it nicer - absolutely. I think you are going to see a lot of seniors abandoning conventional traveling and staying at hotels for RVing. And people love their pet families.

It was a nice treat to have a chocolate chip cookie as we arrived and checked in. Yum.
