Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Stay met our needs There are not a lot of hotel choices in EBRG, so you pick the hotel that will be most convenient and will meet most of your needs while there -- chiefly, giving you a place to sleep and be secure from the weather etc. We were there on business (also former residents of Ellensburg) and were disappointed that the room was not really set up for business travellers. The desk in the room was small and although there was a comfortable side chair for reading or watching TV, there was no side table on which to put a drink or snack or to put your book down -- we called the front desk and asked if a side table could be provided and were told that none were available. This was disappointing. We were there for three nights, so had to accommodate ourselves -- ended up using the recycle bin upside down as a very low side table. Not great but a solution. We felt the hotel could do more to think about how the room would be used by guests and be more diligent about accommodating our request -- it was not unreasonable. The internet was difficult to connect to, either sign in took a very long time or the sign-in screen just never popped up. Suffice to say it was spotty. Also, we reserved for three nights, but after night 2 of our stay, our keys expired. After not being able to get in one of the side doors (nearest to our room) and walking to the lobby to have our keys reset, we had to wait in line at the front desk at least 15 minutes while the staff checked in other guests. Only one person was at the front desk and no one else to help. Thank God we showed up when we did because about 6 men travelling together showed up after we did and we surely would have waited forever to get our keys and be able to go to our room which is all we wanted... Consider asking if someone needs more assistance than just checking in at the front desk. It took the clerk about two minutes to fix our keys. /sorry folks but the wait was unnecessary. Breakfast is ample but the scrambled eggs were dried out by the time we went down for breakfast -- they should have been covered with a lid or something to keep them from drying out. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Room 226 evening of Mar 28 Room cold. Night manager tried to fix HVAC, no luck. Hotel full. No room to move e to. Was given a discount (25%) for inconvenience. Appreciate that but need to fix HVAC. G March 5, 2015

We enjoyed the breakfast: Great bacon, turkey sausage, biscuits and gravy and the home made cinnamon rolls - YUMMM. February 27, 2015
