Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by A Room In The Middle of The 2nd Floor Reno My husband and I were traveling home from SC. We stopped at this HIE about 5:30PM. We were assigned a room on the SECOND floor. When we located our room we discovered that we were surrounded by renovation and a crew of shouting workmen. Seems that the guys at the end of the hall communicated with the ones around our room by shouting to each other. We immediately went down to the lobby and asked for a room on the first floor. We had to wait as the desk person checked in another couple. They were assigned a first floor room. When we stepped up to the desk we were informed that there were no more rooms on the first floor now and so we were assigned to one on the third floor. This, too, had reno workers but far enough away that we did not hear them until morning. We were never told of the possibility of reno noise near our initial room and clearly since so little time elapsed from our check-in and our reappearance in the lobby, there had been at least one room on the first floor, which was, as far as we could see, w/out renovation going on. We were treated poorly and will not be returning. The desk person should have told us of the reno on our floor but more to the point WE should have had the choice of the last room on the first floor. Poor service to a Gold card member. Extremely disappointed. October 21, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by mr I have stayed at this property numerous times the last few years. It generally is a very comfortable hospitable experience. This stay was less than expected due to minor inconveniences. The bathroom door did not lock during use, eggs were sub par, and the business center internet needs some IT attention. Overall, the stay was pleasurable, and the front counter was extremely accommodating and personable. October 20, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Relaxing and convenient This time we have had a much better experience on our stay at this holliday inn. The personnel at the desk was very helpfull, managed to give us a room on the lower level. The location of this hotel is convenient has it is located of the highway 95. The room was very clean, and comfortable. Good choice of breakfast, the lady in the breakfast room was very nice. Good value for the money. October 13, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Meets the Standard we Expect at Holiday Inn Express This hotel meets all of our requirements for a hotel to stop at while traveling with one exception. We noticed that there was a city tax of $9.40 added to the cost of the room in addition to the regular state tax. This seems excessive in our opinion and we would avoid this hotel and hotels in this area for this reason. Everything else was fine. October 12, 2014
