Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by RECEIVED A CHARGE OF $287.50 THAT WASN'T MINE! Do not stay at this hotel. They charged me $287.50 for a smoking fee on Jan. 8/13. I called and was told that they check the rooms daily. NOT TRUE. I complained the evening I checked in that the room/hallway smelled of smoke and was told that there were no other available rooms. I'm contacting my credit card company to fight this charge as it is wrong! I'm very very displeased with this hotel and would under no circumstances stay there again. Not to mention, they don't have any type of room service - one has to go across the parking lot to a restaurant at another hotel if they want a meal. I January 22, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mother Nature almost Won Stayed at the Halifax Airport location on Jan 2 and 3/14. Blizzard conditions meant most flights cancelled. Hotel staff were very accommodating especially when their van for transport to the airport became stuck in snow drifts. The manager used a SUV (not sure if it was the managers or a company vehicle ) to transport people back and forth to the airport until they got their vehicle out again. The extra measure was truly appreciated in a tough situation. This particular trip was to get our children back to University but my husband and I usually stay at this location when we travel and have to leave our car behind. We've always had good experiences at this location and recommend it to others. January 7, 2014

Generally, this is one of the best hotels we've encountered. And good value. A bit awkward to access but beyond that first class all the way! January 7, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by First time stay very impressed with quality, service, and affordability The overall experience for our first time stay was impressive with quality of rooms, gym, pool, good hot breakfast, shuttle service to airport and the ability to leave your vehicle on site for up to 2 weeks. In our case we were flying to Ottawa on Dec. 18th near noon but was calling for bad weather so we stay the night before. Likewise on our return on Dec. 26th. flight delays arrival at midnight and a winter storm, was no brainier based on our previous experience to stay the night at your accommodations. Would we recommend your hotel? YES. Would we stay again? YOU BET. Keep it affordable as you have it and continue to offer the service that you do. We have already spread the word to family and friends who will be staying with you over the next few months. January 3, 2014

I am avid hotel customer when my fiance travels on business i travel every two weeks to Halifax to pick him up and this is the location, girls at the font desk are incredible all very nice and friendly and will do all they can to make your stay the best. I truly love this hotel, its clean, beautiful, up to date, love the breakfast they offer, its really the best. I appreciate everyone that makes my stay the best that it can be, they really do go over and beyond for you, love the TVs with the flight updates and how close you are to the air port.
