We decided to take a long awaited overnight escape and wanted a hotel with a two-person tub. This hotel was all we had hoped for. Close to shopping and a great restaurant - JD's Bait Shop. Breakfast was very good, the front desk staff was very nice (had delicious cookies for us when returned from dinner), and the room was comfortable. The only thing I would change would be to request a spa tub room away from the elevator if they have one. Our room was directly above the pool too so we could hear screaming children late in the evening. The noise issue aside, the rest of our stay was very nice..

Good room to get a night's sleep. I saw a few ants crawling in the bathroom the first morning. the shower curtain was loose and looked as if might come down. We had to be careful with it. Also, this HIX location also had shower heads that were too high on the wall. This makes it difficult for people around 5'4" to 5'8" to adjust the shower head. Why can't the Holiday Inn people get this figured out? Another issue we had was that the dryer in the laundry room was terribly inefficient. Clothes were still damp after 1 hour of drying time. Had to pay for a second hour before they could be folded and put away.

After an exhausting day of travel, my family looked forward to spending time in the pool and hot-tub. However, upon check-in on Friday night, we were told that the Spa was non-functional and the pool was just being filled so it was cold.
What I later found out was that the ceiling above the spa was being repaired and their had to be ladders placed accross the spa to provide access to the workers. However, no work was done all weekend and yet the spa remained closed. There was no attempt or desire to remove the ladders since no work was being performed anyway and make the spa useable for the weekend. It just seems that since nothing was going to be done with the ceiling over teh weekend, accomodations could have been made to permit the pool and spa to be usable without little inconveniece. There just didn't seem to be any motivation on the management to do so.

Checked in and after 30 minutes of the heater set on high, I still needed to wear my parka. Front desk finally moved to another room with heat but the bathtub would not hold water.
I thought that Holliday Inn Express ment a quality,renovated location and thermorest beds. This location reminds me of an extended stay with that was painted and re-flagged and that is it. Deferred maintenance and lumpy beds.
Won't catch me at this location again.

I like this hotel. I had to stay at this hotel because I had an appointment at the VA hospital. It was an easy commute at 7am from the hotel to the VA hospital on Clinton off of Colorado ave.

Rooms were quiet relative to adjacent rooms. Morning breakfast was excellent everyday with hot food brought out as needed. What was really special were the hot baked cookies served around 5 pm each weekday. Friendly faces all around.

One of the best places to stay. I'm on the road 45/52 weeks a year and choose to return to this location when traveling for business. Great place, Great staff!

I stayed in one of the jetted tub rooms. The room was large and very comfortable. The bed was harder than I expected. The king room had a separate door so it was divided from the bathroom and front room and this was a nice feature, but the door to the bedroom didn't close all the way.
The jetted tub worked intermittently and this was a huge minus. The front desk clerk gave a discount on the room and this was appreciated, but the point of booking the room was to have a nice relaxing jetted tub.
The microwave was filthy with an exploded yogurt container inside. I have no idea why this was not cleaned.
The staff was all first class - friendly and very attentive.
The pool and hot tub are very nice.
The breakfast was very good - scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cold cereal, fruit, juice, toast, muffins, bagels. They have an automatic pancake maker and the pancakes are very good!
The television in the rooms had static from time to time.
