Your average hotel. Nothing fancy about it and nothing shockingly wrong with it. The only complaint would be the really thin walls. You can definitely hear right through them. It can be annoying when you are trying to go to sleep and you have to listen to the next room's TV

I booked a stay at the hotel based upon the value, a continental breakfast included in the price as a strong benefit. Check-in was very fast, the room was very well kept, and the overall environment very quiet and relaxing - this despite the fact that a girl's volleyball team was staying during the same time frame. At first I thought the walls might be a bit thin but the room ended up being very quiet. The comfortable bed no doubt added to the relaxation. The breakfast was a bit different each morning with a good variety of the regulars - pancakes, waffles, french toast, fruits, yogurt, etc. The visit reaffirmed that the Holiday Inn Express is a good value for the offered price.

From check-in to check-out, this stay was perfect.
Karen, who was was working the desk when I arrived, provided excellent help and followed-through on every detail.
The room was great, and the amenities were excellent. And, as I have said many times, the breakfast is the standard all HIE facilities should strive to meet.
Last, but not least, Richard was at the desk when we left, and his service was also outstanding, as always.

Attended my son's WOC graduation. Hotel was nicely priced (select military if you have ID), clean, and comfortable. Location was convinent for tavel to Ft Rucker, 15 min. Room was comfortable, but guest on 3rd floor was loud when walking. Did not get what I thought I reserved. When online, the picture shows a couch in room. This is not the case. Only had a chair other than the bed. Was told I would have to upgrade to a suite to get the couch. Was moved to another room with 2 queen beds instead of a King. Staff was friendly and willing to help. Would recommend this hotel to others who will be attending functions at Ft Rucker.

we found silverfish in our room. Now, this may not be a big deal to southerners, but we northerners 'bout melted. Not what I wanted to bring him from our vacation. And the hotel did nothing, but apologize.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dave24s Great bed and fantastic people.
The room was kept very clean and the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home every day. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and the coffee was good too. I will look for the Holiday Inn Express from now on wherever I travel in the future. The bed was very comfortable and I slept soundly every night.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BradB Best Holiday Inn Express I have found!
First, the breakfast is always perfect and served in a clean and comfortable environment. The person who makes this happen needs to be recognized for her great work!
Second, all of the staff, desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and any I left out are professional, polite, helpful, and always pleasant.
I always enjoy staying at this HIE.

worst stay at a HIE i had. staff was not willing to help when problems came up. Internet service didnt work, when i called front desk with the problem i got a number to call to deal with the problem myself. Called number 3 or 4 times during my stay and the problem was never corrected by the time i left. Also the reservations i made was for 1 king bed i got a room with 2 beds.Breakfast was less then par for a HEI, mechines out of sevice etc. Needless to say i would go out of my way not to stay at this hotel in the future.
