Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor excuse for H.I.E. we were quoted one price but charged almost double because we were upgraded to a suite as we are Platium Elete members. The price was corrected after we checked out. Had to call customer services. The owner was there but did not come out and talk to us and straighten out our charge. There was no manager on property as they did not have one because they were getting a new one. The girl at the front counter was very nice but couldn't do anything about the charge. We did not eat there because the lady fixing the food was coughing over all the food and not trying to avoid it. Not even turning her head or covering her mouth. April 11, 2013

Usually we are given a little goodie bag and friendly service....Did not even receive that! We booked a month in advance and were told ALL rooms were Non smoking. When we checked in -Nonsmoking room reeked of smoke-when I informed management they said they were unable to move me to another room. They did not do anything-did not even offer air freshener... And the room was not as clean as we usually expect. So much for Customer service,.....much less priority customer service! Ha!! April 7, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bit noisy this time I've stayed at this hotel a number of times before as it is the newest one in Eunice. Was put on the 2nd floor this time and there was quite a bit of noise. The doors to the rooms all seem to "slam" shut and that noise from the hallway woke me a few times. In addition, I could hear people walking around on the 3rd floor as well as the TV in the room next to mine. Apparently, their TV was on the same wall as my bed's headboard. Will definately request a 3rd floor room for any future visit. Was disappointed that the new-fangled-pancake maker was once again broken. #It was broken on some previous visits as well.# Wish they would go to just an old fashioned waffle maker b/c there isn't much that goes wrong with those. The staff was really nice and helpful whenever I had a question. April 6, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff We were in town to watch Kellogg Comm. College play against LSUE. The staff always greeted us with Hello and a smile. The front desk gal, Amber was especially friendly. The weather wasn't as warm as we had expected and she was always willing to make us coffee to warm up and gave us directions to some locations. She, despite being sick, went above and beyond. I hope that when we return next year that we stay in this hotel and that Amber will be behind the desk !! March 8, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Almost Like Home! We stayed in Eunice because there are no lodgings in Church Point, where our daughter lives. From the moment we walked in the door we were made to feel welcome. I asked where to find yarn, and Amber picked some up for me at Walmart later that night when she was off duty. Mrs. Drew, the breakfast room attendant, delighted in taking care of us, and prepared pancakes for me every morning, and spoiling our grandsons when they were with us. The maids were sensitive to the times when were in the room, and would come back later so they wouldn't disturb us. Mrs. Judah, the manager, went out of her way to make sure everything was right with our stay. When I commented how much at home we felt, she remarked she tried her best to hire kind people. She's done a great job. As eager as I was to get home, I truly hated leaving because I felt I had made so many new friends. We will absolutely stay at the HIE in Eunice the next time we visit our daughter. November 15, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service For some reason the room I booked end up being a smoking room, since I don't smoke was quite unconfortable to sleep there, but then this person at the fron desk, Casey, make everything possible to get me a non-smoking room when almost all the rooms at the hotel were booked. at the end I got a very good room, quite, clean and with all high quality standards holiday inn has.
