Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great long term experience I stayed in this hotel for several weeks straight and had no issues at this hotel the entire time. The staff is great and were more than happy to help me with any requests and were always available to chat about local events while I was in town. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area for short out long term stays. May 26, 2014

I spend pretty much Monday night to Friday every week in an IHG property of some kind, but I will never stay in this one again. They closed a much better property at I64 and route 41 and this motel is still an IHG property, what a shame! The carpeting at and in the elevators was absolutely disgusting. Dirty, stained, and actually smelled as bad as it looked. Expecting this to be a comfort Inn or something soon cause it is not up to the IHG standards in my opinion. Swimming area and pool was very warm and comfortable, enjoyed sitting around the pool it was so warm. Hot tub felt great, also! This is always my first choice for a hotel when I visit Evansville. You are walking distance from several food places and a movie theater is just next door. You can drive to downtown Evansville in no time. And, if you forgot something there is a Wal-Mart, Dollar Store, etc. all around in the area from this hotel. If you are looking for a clean, nice staff, and great location to stay in Evansville... Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to relax While visiting my daughter, we stayed at this Holiday Inn. The rooms were great to just hang out and relax in while we watched the rain fall. An added bonus was the mini fridge with microwave that we certainly put to good use. The room service staff did an excellent job of keeping us in clean towels and the breakfast each morning was excellent. April 14, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding Experience. Incredible value. A "Must Stay" when in Evansville Our company policy is to stay at ICG properties, with HI Express being the most common. That being said, I would rate this location in the top 1% of Holiday Inn Express Hotels nationally. That's high praise, but everything here was perfect, including the staff. From clean comfortable lodging, to efficient handling of requests, to fresher and tastier than normal breakfast offerings, it is clear that the staff and management at this location take tremendous pride in their work and are fully dedicated to the guests who call the hotel "home" while visiting Evansville. Historically, I've stayed at the East Side HI Express in Evansville, but I tried the West Side location because it was less expensive and had the suite I requested for business reasons. Now all I can say is, "sorry East Side." While the East Side location is more convenient to work and family (I grew up in Evansville), I'll drive the extra few minutes for a superior room and superior stay. Keep up the good work West Side!!!!! I'll be back. You have my highest recommendation. April 5, 2014

As someone who is been platinum for a few years I would like to be greeted as such and offered upgrades as policy requires. Overall this is a good hotel with ok beds, it would have been better had I been greeted as someone who spends 130 nights with them a year. March 2, 2014
