A couple friends and myself were in town to visit and this hotel was perfect for us. Location was good, rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly.

disappointed: quality of breakfast, check-in staff not friendly, very thin walls - heard entire conversation of neighbors; terrible towels - stiff and rough; pool/construction not advertised at reservation site; phone in room didn't work; alarm clock didn't work

Great hotel, clean, organized, amazing breakfast. I feel this rating would be 5/5 had I not been given a room whose doorframe had a large gap at the top, causing me to hear all hallway noise and door slamming (including a stairwell). I've stayed at this hotel before, and did not have that issue; however, avoid room 207 at all cost due to the aforementioned issue. Bed is amazing, pillows are fantastic, temperature is great; but if you can hear awful noise the entire night, you're not sleeping!

The staff and service are above and beyond any Holiday Inn I have stayed at. They did everything possible to make us comfortable during a very difficult time with all the snow and even helped us find restaurants that were open and delivering. We will definitely be staying here again on any future stays

Most of the staff was great. There had been an ice storm followed by snow. Most of the parking lot was a sheet of ice. I was not informed of free Wifi when I checked in and never used because I didn't have the code. Lisa at the breakfast staff was wonderful. Very personable and helpful.

First out-of-town date night for us in a long time. Really looking forward to it. At check-in we were told... "no water at all for a while". By the next morning we had COLD water ONLY! The bathroom door would not close because of a bulge in the floor, no tissue in the room, the pancake maker was out-of-order and the room heater rattled so loud on start-up and shut-down that it woke us up every time. This place was a dump. Stay somewhere else... anywhere else!!! For sure don't let them give you room 314

The only thing that concerned me was the cleaning. There were dirty linen left in the bath room.
The breakfast was awesome and thanks also to desk staff.

I travel on business quite a bit throughout the year and patronize all the major hotel chains. I get bombarded with surveys from all of them and rarely fill them out. But the service at the Evansville West location is second to none! From Diana at the front desk to the nice lady preparing the free breakfast, you have a top notch staff here and very accommodating to us volleyball parents.
Thank you Holiday Inn Express team, go Screaming Eagles!!

This made my second time staying at this hotel on business. The staff was nice and helpful, room clean and quiet. Used the gym this time during my stay and really enjoyed it. Would recommend this to family, friends, and co-workers.

Employees continually SMOKING near the front door. Sometimes 3 to 4 employees at a time.

Great hotel. Excellent and friendly and helpful staff. But, after a busy weekend, they had run out of breakfast items! The staff was apologetic, and did the best to accommodate. They even opened the pool for us early.

Staff is one of the best of any hotels that I have stayed in any where in the US or some of the other countries that I have travel in. Hotel is always clean, it is close to many restaurants. Have stayed there 25 days this year. Will be back at Christmas.

upon arriving, I had to wait for someone to come to the front desk for about 5 minutes, then she checked me in while you had something in her mouth, she did not offer me any priority club extras, like snacks. Very rushed. The breakfast the next morning was not very good either. I came down around 7:00 am and the food had not been replenished, there was hardly any gravy in the container, very little bread or bagels. It looked like they just didnt want to replenish anything because breakfast would be over soon.

I stayed one night and it was a relaxing quite night. I would have like to have seen white bread for toast in the morning.
Overall the staff was helpful but not intrusive.

Room was very clean....even the corners of the room had been vacuumed
Staff was friendly & knew a lot about the area
Breakfast was good, pancake/waffle machine was out of order....that's a little disappointing but we survived quite well on scrambled eggs, bacon, & toast.
You will enjoy your stay here.

I could not believe it. There was a barking dog on my floor which woke me up early in the morning (before 6:00 am) and continued barking all morning - until I finally left after 9:00 am. This was the real topper to an overall bad hotel stay.
