This was my second stay at the Holiday In Express and Suites in Exmore, Virginia - Eastern Shore. Because I grew up on the Eastern Shore, I return here often for business and leisure.
I am very pleased with the size of the double suites and the pillows are the absolute best. The hotel provided soft and firm pillows.
I had two great nights of sleep.

I stayed at this hotel in August 2014, and can honestly say that this is one of the worst places I have stayed in on all my travels. We came at around 6pm to the hotel and while my room was apparently ready, the cleaning service were still working on other rooms. That night, my wife and I saw a huge bug, which looked like a cockroach. We called the front desk, and they offered to move us to another room, but we had a baby sleeping, so decided to stay. I then woke at 5am, and saw two more bugs in the bathroom, and as time went buy, more and more appeared. When we looked at the floor in the morning, we saw additional dead bugs. In the hallway outside the room, I also saw a bug near the ice machine on the third floor.
The front desk told me on two occasions that this does not happen at the hotel, but looking at some recent reviews, it appears that is not the case. Moreover, since we saw a dead bug, it gives the impression that it died during the night, therefore I wonder if some chemical has already been put in the room.
The hotel offered to refund my points along with some additional points. However, looking at my points, it appears these additional points were not added.
I did take some photos of the bugs.
