Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by friendly helpful staff and good service This was a last minute business trip and the timing very short, however the staff and general experience made a very positive impression. The service was very good, the staff very helpful and the use of the shuttle to and from my work meant that i could relax and enjoy the experience rather than worry about it. The rooms were clean and the general reception area was warm and welcoming as were the staff. December 24, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Great location, needs some updates Great location, plenty to do around the hotel. Elevator and breakfast areas are small and cramped, couldn't fit 3 people together for breakfast. Cinnamon rolls were stale and not many fresh options for breakfast. December 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Convenient Location We enjoyed our short stay at the Holiday Inn Express Lionville. Room was clean and comfortable, extremely quiet, and close to good food and shopping. Would have liked to have USB ports in the room for charging phones as many other chains currently have, had to run out and buy a charger. The breakfast was a little over-cooked but there were plenty of options to choose from if you didn't want the hot food option. All that said, we would stay here again, the price and friendly staff made it a great choice. December 15, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by What I Miss About Home After my second stay at the Holiday Inn Express Exton-Lionville, there are a few niceties that I realize I take for granted when at home. I stayed with a group of coworkers for four nights and the same problems from the first time I stayed there cropped up this time. Myself and two others (3 of the 4 of us) experienced showers that would not properly drain. It's not so pleasant standing in three inches of "run off". Two of us experienced a lack of warm water after two minutes or less. My sink did not drain and I realized that after shaving and having all my stubble stuck to the sides of the sink after it took 10 minutes to drain. The breakfast was average, at best, and the space they dedicate isn't nearly enough for the volume of guests they have. IE: people are left without a place to sit and eat. Lastly, and maybe it's unfair to compare a hotel mattress quality to that of my Tempurpedic at home, but I kept feeling like I was about to roll off the bed. One night, I woke up with an unbelievable leg cramp from trying to make sure I wasn't falling out of the bed. I'll be advising my company to consider booking me elsewhere next time I'm in town. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quick overnight stay Travelling for business, I had the pleasure of staying here. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were a bit worn and could have been cleaner. Nice restaurant next door with plenty of beer selection on tap made for a nice easy dinner choice. I'm generally satisfied with my stay, just cleaner, more modern bathroom would have been nice, but it is a Holiday Inn express. :) December 15, 2014

Vending machines were out of order, so no water available and the bathroom was too small for the price I paid. Never again will I stay at THIS location. Delaware offers a checkout time of 3pm for reward members, THIS location does not. December 12, 2014
