Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service Upon arrival, I had a problem with my television. The staff, including the manager worked on the problem for nearly 2 hrs. until it was fixed. The breakfast lady was awesome, she made the guests feel like family and we were all having breakfast together around the table. It is pricey but rooms in the summer in Fairbanks are all pricey. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Arrived Late, Great Service Arrived just before midnight after spending 10 hours on flights, so naturally tired. Staff was very attentive and smooth check in process. Recognized as a Platinum member, even though no rooms available to upgrade. Breakfast was busy, and staff kept up keeping items stocked. Very pleased with my stay, and would definitely book again, but of course may be a few years before I get to visit Alaska again. Definitely recommend others to stay here when in Fairbanks. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Watch your back There is an integrity issue in this hotel. Vera in the kitchen is one of the few honest people working here. The front desk cannot be trusted with easy common courtesy tasks. During check out the front desk lied to my family claiming they couldn't print a receipt but would email it. Both are a lie. They could have printed if they wanted (every hotel can) nor have they a week and a half later bothered to email the zero balance receipt. Don't trust them. The housekeeping staff run a schedule that makes no sense. They might be cleaning the room right next to yours but then they will take off and clean another floor. No sense of coordination or even following the idea of working smarter rather than harder. July 16, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Super HIE Location Our room was very clean. Breakfast choices were the most I've ever seen in an HIE, and I've stayed in 50+ locations. Good breakfast area staff. Breakfast room is very nicely decorated. Good front desk service. Top 10% in my opinion. The one thing that could be improved is the parking--not enough spaces up next to the hotel. We had to park out back behind the hotel both nights. June 30, 2014
