Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly manager The manager of this hotel has been there for over four years. He greets everyone with a smile. We visited a few years ago with our whole family for my father's funeral and the hotel was perfect. I will always return to this hotel. It is impressive that the manager has been there for so many years and is still so positive and happy to be there. May 21, 2015

Great experience, however I have 2 issues...1) you can't listen to the TV at a comfortable listening level when the air conditioner kicks on as it's way too loud and 2) the scrambled eggs for breakfast were clearly not made from "real" eggs. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for a GARF outing We came to stay at HIE during the opening weekend of the Georgia Renaissance Festival. Hotel was not even phased by our checking in dressed in costumes. But they sure did love our Jack Sparrow guy. Hotel was beautiful with an indoor waterfall, very soothing. Rooms were clean and well kept. Breakfast was very good and a big variety to choose from. We will be staying again here soon. April 30, 2015

This was the second time visiting the Atlanta area for the Georgia renfest and one could not ask for a better more convenient location for access to the local attractions of Atlanta while maintaining a calmer and more rural atmosphere. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by halfway home We stayed at this hotel on our way home to Chicago. The facility is beautiful and the staff is friendly and helpful. Greg was on duty at the time of our check-in and you can tell he loves being employed by IHG. We overslept and missed the breakfast buffet - Rebeca went out of her way to get us something to eat. We will definitely stay here on future trips. April 8, 2015
