Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Older property. Great Staff. This hotel is definitely an older property. The first room I was assigned was a king room with one of those large whirlpools. When I walked in the room smelled of smoke and mold. The carpet was also coming up, and was just plain old dingy. I brought this to the staff's attention and they were very helpful and were able to move me to a different room. The second room had a better smell and much better carpeting. The work out room is decent, and the staff is very helpful. I hope this hotel is on the list of renovated properties here in the near future. Until it is renovated I do not see myself staying here again, and I travel out that way for business quite a bit. May 15, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Room change due to recent smoking in room My initial room was filled with the stench of cigarette smoke. It was obvious someone had been smoking in there recently. I immediately asked for a new room and was denied, stating they were fully booked. The manager was very understanding and brought and ionizer to "clean" the air but I was not satisfied. I had to go down to the front desk again and only after I requested a corporate number to complain about the situation did the manager change my room. Extremely inconvenient. Arrived at hotel around 9pm; wasn't fully settled in my second room until about 11pm. The second room was what I expected an HIE room to be. It had no trace of smoking and everything worked well. In my opinion, if a room stinks like smoke, it should not be available for booking in a non-smoking hotel. I am disgusted with the way I was treated as a Platinum member. Internet here is slow but breakfast is excellent. April 22, 2015
