nice hotel that is pet friendly. Howover it is not pet free. The pet stay was $75.00, pretty high for a dog that weighs less than 10 lbs. Other than that great hotel.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Concentrated niceness Very helpful, friendly reservation and front desk staff
The day before, this hotel as well as the other local ones were all booked due to the State Bar Annual meeting. The next morning I still needed lodging and the reservation person, aware of my predicament, allowed me to check in a newly available room early rather than waiting until mid afternoon. That was very nice and much appreciated. She also confirmed my membership in the Rewards Program, which I had forgotten about.
The room's décor - subdued, light hued earth tones, was right up my alley. Soothing and pleasing to the eye. The furniture was simple yet attractive. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MaryB22222 Excellent stay
I was very pleased with this hotel. The hotel was renovated not long ago and everything looked updated and fresh. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast each morning was extensive for a complimentary breakfast. The front desk staff were professional, friendly and helpful. We had a very nice stay and I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Fairhope. The only drawbacks: NO pay-per-view movies and the walls are kind of thin (could hear activity in the hall at night, etc...)

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Maree19 Great Surprise at the Holiday Inn Express
We were pleasantly surprised at how welcome, clean and efficient this Holiday Inn Express is run. We were VERY comfortable. We have not stayed at a Holiday Inn in many years but Fairhope-Point Clear changed our mind. We will try another Holiday Inn Express next month when we go to Virginia.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Somebody777333 Excellent Staff and clean, up to date hotel
We wanted to visit Fairhope and this hotel was very close (about a 5 minute drive). It was easy to locate and there was plenty of parking. The hotel only had entrances at the main lobby (much safer than multiple entrances, whether you have to have a key card or not) and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The elevator was a little slow to get started and stop, but there were only three floors, so it wasn't a huge deal. Also, the ice machines and vending machines were all on different floors, which was a little annoying to have to leave your room, go down to the first floor to get ice and go up to the third floor to get a soda, but not a big deal, either. We were booked to stay in a suite, but it was not available, so they comped us a second room, with an adjoining door. The king suite was fantastic! Plenty of room, very comfortable bed, great bathroom and plenty of places to sit and work on your computer or relax and watch TV. The queen room with the sofa was nice. There was actually a fair amount of room and several places to sit, along with a small fridge, a little microwave, and a coffeemaker (same in the king suite). The décor and rooms had been recently renovated and updated and looked really nice. The floors were a faux wood and the bathroom tile looked really good. The tub was HUGE and had great water pressure and comfortable shower - plenty of places to put soap, shampoo, a razor, etc. Also, the tiling in the bathroom was really nice and up to date. Everything looked so clean, it made you glad to be in your room and not worried to walk around barefoot. Another little thing I really liked was the hairdryers (small thing, but neat). They had their own little "hangers" that you just picked them up off of and turned them on. They weren't the kind that you had to jam into the wall and they weren't all wrapped up in a drawer. It was the nicest way to use a hair dryer - easy to use and put up, but not in the way and not taking up counter space. The two biggest drawbacks were the internet (got connected, but still couldn't get online - too slow) and the comfort of the pull-out sofa (I didn't sleep on it, but my nephew did - if he was bigger and weighed more than 100 pounds, he would have been miserable - as it was, it was "passable" as far as comfort goes). Also, the living room furniture wasn't super-comfortable, but we didn't sit on it for very long. The breakfast was typical Holiday Inn free breakfast. Not fantastic gourmet food, but plenty of choices and lots of decent food (omelets, bacon, sausage, fresh apples and bananas, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, milk, juices, coffee, toast, biscuits, gravy, etc.). I would definitely stay here again and would certainly recommend it to anyone who wanted to stay in Fairhope with more than two adults.
