This hotel was under renovation during our stay. We stayed in a newly renovated room which was very nice. The breakfast was a good variety. Great location in Fairhope.

We went there for my niece's wedding and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, the bathroom was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. I will highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel property is under going major renovation for Building 1, which should be completed in another month. At that point it should be fantastic ! Right now, if you are business, Building one is okay as the workers leave at 5PM so the noise is gone until 9AM. Building Two is more quiet but will be the next one to have some minor upgrades. I will be staying here again.

Property was under construction and should not have been open! Main floor hallway to elevator was barely wide enough to get luggage cart to elevator and you'd better not meet anyone or someone was backing up. Bathroom is tiny, tiny, tiny. You cannot hardly place a quarter between the toilet & the door as it closes. You either lean on the counter or against the toilet (nasty!) to shut the door. And only one person at a time is getting ready in there. Also, no bathtub & shower curtain ruffles against your legs while you shower. Not the caliber you expect from HIE. Breakfast was in another building where you had to walk through construction muck to get there. Very, very sorry we wasted our rewards points and night there.

The floor is sticky, dirty, and disgusting. There are posted signs apologizing for the fact that the facility is under renovation. But they should not sacrifice cleanliness. We were initially assigned to a room that was not cleaned. And the receptionist made us walk back to the lobby, located in a separate building, so he can correct their mistake.
