The breakfast selection was one of the best we'd had. Delores, the staff person in charge of the breakfast, was wonderful and very personable. She always checked to make sure we had enough to eat! The room was fine. Our only complaint was that our room was not cleaned at all one of the days we stayed. We'd had our Do Not Disturb sign out until about 10:30 a.m. We left the room at 11:30 and returned about 1:00 p.m. No clean room. Before we left about 3:00, I contacted housekeeping to let them know our room had not been cleaned. The front desk answered and told me he would let them know. We returned again about 5:00 to again an untouched room. I called and again the front desk answered. He said he'd try to find someone to clean the room. He called me back to say that everyone in housekeeping was gone for the day. Your brochure says that housekeeping is available until 6:00 p.m. I told him we needed towels at least. He immediately brought them to the room. When housekeeping knocked on the door the next day and wanted to know if we needed anything, I told her YES!!! After that, we didn't have a problem. Housekeeping was on our floor every time we left, so we just assumed we would return to a clean room.

This was the first time spent at this Holiday Inn but it will NOT be our last.
We stay almost exclusively at Holiday inn express and this was among the best if not the best.
The staff was excellent, the hotel and room were immaculate and comfortable. Breakfast was okay but have had better at other HIE.
Will make a point of staying here again.

- convenient location for visiting the Fairmont, WV area
- cleanliness of the hotel and all facilities is a testament to the quality of work provided by the staff at this hotel
- Staff members were friendly and courteous regarding our comfort with the facilities at this hotel
- we forgot my wife's prescription glasses in the room upon leaving the hotel, and they were waiting at the checkin desk when we inquired to see if the glasses were left in our room. We are most appreciative for the staff assisting us.
