Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Staff made for a great stay. Only stayed one night for a college football game. Staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Quick check in so I could get to the game. even greeted us warmly when we returned from the game at 1 AM. Enjoyed the breakfast later that morning and the selection was very nice. The two ladies that were working the breakfast area were so nice, I thought I was at home with family. Only got one of their names, Delores. They really went out of their way to make sure everything was hot, fresh and plentiful. We will certainly be staying here for all our home games this year and in the years to come. Thank you. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay! Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express was very pleasant. The only difficulty had nothing to do with the hotel itself. There were loud motorcycles that arrived right outside our window at about 1 AM. Other than that, our stay could not have been better! Will return next time we are in the area! September 10, 2014

Upon walking into the front desk area for check-in, this positive feeling was enforced by the staff immediately. Room was clean and comfortable. My only dislike was the very limited choices for breakfast. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. September 10, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great breakfast The breakfast selection was one of the best we'd had. Delores, the staff person in charge of the breakfast, was wonderful and very personable. She always checked to make sure we had enough to eat! The room was fine. Our only complaint was that our room was not cleaned at all one of the days we stayed. We'd had our Do Not Disturb sign out until about 10:30 a.m. We left the room at 11:30 and returned about 1:00 p.m. No clean room. Before we left about 3:00, I contacted housekeeping to let them know our room had not been cleaned. The front desk answered and told me he would let them know. We returned again about 5:00 to again an untouched room. I called and again the front desk answered. He said he'd try to find someone to clean the room. He called me back to say that everyone in housekeeping was gone for the day. Your brochure says that housekeeping is available until 6:00 p.m. I told him we needed towels at least. He immediately brought them to the room. When housekeeping knocked on the door the next day and wanted to know if we needed anything, I told her YES!!! After that, we didn't have a problem. Housekeeping was on our floor every time we left, so we just assumed we would return to a clean room. September 5, 2014

We stay almost exclusively at Holiday inn express and this was among the best if not the best. The staff was excellent, the hotel and room were immaculate and comfortable. Breakfast was okay but have had better at other HIE. Will make a point of staying here again. September 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Clean, comfortable and friendly - convenient location for visiting the Fairmont, WV area - cleanliness of the hotel and all facilities is a testament to the quality of work provided by the staff at this hotel - Staff members were friendly and courteous regarding our comfort with the facilities at this hotel - we forgot my wife's prescription glasses in the room upon leaving the hotel, and they were waiting at the checkin desk when we inquired to see if the glasses were left in our room. We are most appreciative for the staff assisting us. September 2, 2014
