Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and Comfortable Rooms are large. Bed/room was comfortable and clean. Staff was courteous and friendly, and check-in was quick. The only negative comment that I have was that the treadmill in the fitness room wasn't working. December 11, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfy beds The HIE in Fallon is a great little hotel. The room was very clean and well maintained. The beds were comfy, great pillows and nice clean linens. The towels were super soft as well...better than I expected from a smaller hotel. There were two of us in the room and staff would only leave three towels each day, so we were constantly asking for extras. Nice variety of pastries, yogurt, oatmeal, fruit, etc. for breakfast. Fresh baked cookies every afternoon with a beverage. I do believe the hotel was a bit pricey for the area, however if I had to go back I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thanks HIE Fallon!! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beds We had a family sweet with 2 queens and a couch/hide-a-bed. our 2 grand kids could not sleep on the hide-a-bed as it felt like laying on all springs. We asked for and got a roll away bed for one but the other had to sleep on the couch. We received a reduction in price, but it still would have been cheaper to stay in the 2-queen and pay for the roll-away. The mattresses on the couch/hide-a-beds need to be replaced ASAP. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfy bed and just ok service in general. A couple of the staff acted like we interrupted their busy schedules though they were sitting around. Asked for extra towels and had to call again since we were forgotten. Had to ask for room to be cleaned due to a new girl thinking she couldn't clean the room since there was a few pieces of clothing on the bed. So someone came to make the bed and they got my used towels but floor needed to be vacuumed and never was. There were a few nice girls though but the other 2 were VERY not friendly! November 7, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding Hotel Experience The staff are excellent, friendly and professional! They go out of their way to make you comfortable and happy. I especially like the nice breakfast. And the 24 hour pool, spa and gym are what make this property a must stay for any trip I make to Fallon. I highly recommend it as a great stop over for travelers. And for multiple nights, the friendly staff and amenities cant be beat! The rooms are clean, the lobby and upstairs reading library with books are awesome for relaxing. This hotel is one of the best I have stayed at anywhere and its in an off the beaten path place. I would rank their staff a level above any in a resort location. They obviously train their staff well and they are very happy to be working there. From the front desk to the housekeepers to the maintenance guy, they are all friendly and want you to enjoy your stay at "Their" Hotel! I will stay here anytime I travel to or through Fallon. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, Convenient and Great Staff Three of us on a business trip had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Fallon. We arrived very late and tired and Carla was very pkeasant and offered us snacks and water. Our rooms were comfortable, quiet, and we were close to restaurants and the hospital we came to visit. The breakfast was delicious, hot and well stocked. I would recommend this property if you are traveling in the Fallon area. November 1, 2013

I made the reservation for 3 single rooms using the IHG App on my phone. When I got to the hotel I checked in using a corporate credit card in my name. The actually asked me to sign a piece of paper to signify that I understood I would actually have to pay the charges on my card. When would that be an issue with a corporate card in the users name? All small things in the room. Why mark pillows firm and soft if they are all soft. I expect double sheeted top. Remote on TV wasn't working. It was a place to spend the night but I won't go out of my way to return to that Holiday Inn October 27, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Worst HIE we have ever stayed in First room was supposed to be non smoking, stunk of cigarette smoke. Desk moved us to a different room. Second room the mattress was so worn out and lumpy, it should have been replaced five years ago. The room refrigerator did not work, We were traveling with items that needed to be refrigerated and by the time we realized that the Frig was broken, we had to throw everything away. We stay at HIE often, We depend on them to provide a clean comfortable room and surroundings. The Fallon HIE did not come close October 4, 2013

Mattresses sagged as though they were 10 years old. Internet connection was poor: got connected but could not finish. Kept disconnecting. Temperature control very poor and could not open window (locked or welded shut? Was a first floor room). Needed A/C even though outside temperature in low 60s. September 25, 2013

As we travel from Oregon to Las Vegas we are always needing a good clean place to lay our heads after a long tiring drive. Our room was excellent and the staff so friendly and helpful. Everyone must love their jobs because they all were very pleasant and always smiling. A sign of good employees and proper management.. Thanks for the nice stay. September 9, 2013

My husband just had major surgery several weeks ago, and after we had gone to the car, we decided to request a first floor room. We went back to the front desk, explained it was too hard to get every thing up to the 3rd floor, and our room was changed, just like that. Thank you! Will use Holiday Inn again. September 6, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Housekeeping needs extra training. We stay here whenever in town for the Vorra Races hosted by Stockman Casino due to the close proximity. This last visit however, was less than desirable. Upon arrival the lady at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. The next morning the maid knocked on our door at 8:00am, we told her it would be a couple hours. We came back to our room at 3:00 pm and the bed was not made and there was a note stating the bed could not be made because of our personal pillows being on the bed. The note also stated that she had no coffee on her cart and if we wanted more to go to the front desk and get it. Really? The next day we came back to our room at 2PM, maid had never been there. We left at 3 PM and asked the front desk to make sure our room was cleaned and that we had fresh towels as we would not be back until 3AM. She said that housekeeping had gone home for the day, but if we needed towels when we got back to ask for them. WOW! we may be back if housekeeping gets their act together. We explained all of this at checkout and turned in the note and were told that we would hear from someone soon. Have not heard a word since we checked out on 21, 2013. July 29, 2013
