The room was clean and neat. The only problem we experienced was that everything felt damp in the evening when we went to bed. It may have been the weather or the pool being next door but things did feel damp. But having said that the staff was very professional and eager to assist in anyway they could.

Fine hotel to stay in, I would go back again if in Fenton. It would be nice if the IHG did a better job of acknowledging their Priority Club members. This was not done at this location. No other complaints except that, as usual, breakfast food is high-carb with not much of a selection of fresh fruit, only had bananas.

Staff very friendly and accomodating. Clean, quiet rooms. Breakfast had good variety. Nice neighborhood and easy access to freeway.

I have stayed at this property many times over the last 7 years and I am never dissapointed! The hotel is always clean and well-stocked, the breakfast is always hot and plentiful, the front desk staff is always so friendly and welcoming and the room are clean and quiet, I love staying here!

I paid an extra $25 plus tax for a Suite... It was a normal to small hotel room with a small 3 foot wall between the bed and couch and they call it a Suite. Not a suite, the pool was warm, but had to air dry because they had no towels, walked to the front desk and was told I should have asked for towels before I went swimming, She got me 5. There were five of us. I used a dirty towel I found on the floor of the pool area to clean the water off the floor from the pool to the lobby because I had no towel, The front desk lady was made at me for getting the towel dirty. I will not stay here again.

Stayed here on the way to the East Coast to visit family. It was about the half way point so we decided to stop. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist and a clean and well appointed room. The Desk Clerk recommended the restaurant next door for dinner and she was spot on in her recommendation. The hotel was full and still the staff remained friendly and seemed to go out of their way to make sure everyone was pleased. On our way back it was a no brainer to stay here again. As my wife has problems getting around, I placed in my advanced reservation that we would appreciate a room close to the door or the elevator. When I arrived we were met with a dour receptionist who stated that although she saw the request, there was nothing she could do to accommodate our request. The only available rooms were all the way down the hall. All she had to do was mention that by using a side door, I would be right at my room. The fact that I was recognized as a rewards club member seemed to come as a requirement as opposed to a thanks. I think the clerk working the evening of July 1st could use a better choice for an occupation, she is definitely not an ambassador for your hotel. The next morning though, the friendly, smiling staff had returned. I will keep this hotel in mind.

Easy access to highway, but no traffic sounds in rooms. Lot to do in area.

We always stop in Fenton on our trip to the UP. They have been proven to provide the services expected. Due to our tight travel times, we normally do not get to utilize the aneminities of this hotel. We are normally in early and out early. One of these trips we will try to time things better to try out thre breakfast .

Internet service at this location was very poor. It kept knocking me off every 10 minutes and had to reboot. A real hassle for someone trying to do work. The desk clerk was no help.

my recent stay at the Holiday Express was very enjoyable. Staff was very cooperative and helpful. the only suggestion I would make to the corporation is to provide some sort of transportation to guests from the airport. I understand it is an expense, but well worth to visitors or make arrangements with local services for a reasonable price. Thank you.

I know at first I was thinking too much to spend for a room,..but this is a great location, very clean, comfortable rooms, friendly beyond belief staff, great amenities. What also sells the price being rather reasonable, is the breakfast bar. If 2 people go anywhere these days to eat breakfast, especially fast food "restaurants", it now is a 20 dollar bill out of your pocket, with very little change back. Breakfast bar is large & varied, healthy choices, & some carb indulgences, always being replenished, and clean, clean. Highly recommend

We were looking for a relaxing overnight getaway. We splurged on the honeymoon suite and it was a real surprise! Loved the heart shape tub and how nice the suite was. It was just what we were looking for, relaxation. The breakfast the next morning was one of the best I have had at a hotel, and my Husband stays at hotels almost daily for work agreed.

We enjoy our stays at this Holiday Inn. They put us on the first floor, close to an exit so we have easy access to the outdoors for our dogs. The room was roomy and comfortable. We make sure this is our stop on all our trips to our place in the upper peninsula.

Excellent property, great location to highway, restaurants, and shopping. Superb staff, very clean and extremely accommodating. Friendly service with every question or request. Great breakfast options. I had only one issue during my entire 9 night stay: a part of the door broke. I mentioned it on my way out and it was fixed before I returned. I would definitely stay here again.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 1Ranger Nice hotel, however they allow pets and have no control over barking dog left in the room.
Barking dog allowed for over 1.5 hours at 7:00 AM
They could not locate the owner, the dog was not registared.
They would not enter the room to remove the dog.
