I do wish they had a shuttle from the airport to the hotel and smokers smoke at the front door, which is very offensive to a non-smoker. They staff was very helpful and friendly. June 15, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel My family and I stayed for 4 nights and 5 days. One of the reasons for booking was the location from 6 Flags and other attractions in the area, as well as complimentary breakfast and a pool. I mean, come on, when you pay to stay somewhere, you ought to get breakfast and be able to swim! The pool was a little small but was very clean and my kids loved it. Breakfast was served every morning and we ate all but one morning. There was a pretty good variety of food available and no one complained about the food being served. Our room was clean and the shower was excellent. We will be staying again on our next vacation. June 5, 2014

I would also like to suggest that recycling be started. There is a lot motels can do in addition to conserving water with laundering towels and sheets. A place to recycle plastic and aluminum would be a nice addition. May 30, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not pleased. I stayed at the holiday inn here and it was not the best. I did not get to bed until midnight due to people running the halls for two nights. I spoke to a worker there but nothing was really resolved. They also charged me for two nights when it was supposed to be only one night and so I had to take that up with my bank and with them and I am still currently waiting to be paid back. All in all it was not the best place I've stayed in. May 28, 2014

Waited two days to see if it would be cleaned but it didn't happen. On the third day we asked the person who was cleaning the room to please clean the hair out and it was taken care of at that time. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice I stay at Holiday Inn Express a lot when traveling and I have stayed at this location 3 maybe 4 times. Everything has always been as I would expect it. The staff is very nice, friendly, helpful, polite, very professional. I was in Saint Louis for a week and had first book a room at the Holiday Inn route 66, I like trying out different location but I wish I would have just book in this location again for all week. Breakfast is the typical on the go fast serve yourself which I like because if I want to get more to drink I don't have to wait for and staff to come around and ask if I need something. Rooms are comfortable and for me relaxing and peaceful. I am able to relax and sleep well at this location. Bandanna's BBQ is just half a block away at most and not bad food, typical commercial BBQ place. I would recommend this location hands down. May 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff & Wonderful Suites for families We stayed here for a group event at Six Flags & I was extremely impressed with everything. The hotel was completely sold out & yet the staff handled everything that was thrown at them. They went out of their way to make sure that everyone was comfortable & everyone was happy with their rooms. The breakfast was great & has a lot of options,especially for a free breakfast. We had a Jr Suite & it was perfect for my family, with a king bed, pull out sofa & a twin bed with it's own little alcove for the kids. The hotel is about 15 minutes away from the zoo & Six Flags, which was very convenient. I manage the blocks for our groups & we travel at least 3 times a year to various places & this hotel handled the group better than any of the others we've ever used. I was very pleased & highly recommend this hotel. May 6, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Avg HIE The front desk staff was exceptional. I was placed in the "presidential suite" or so I was told. It was big, but wallpaper was peeling everywhere, mystery stains on wall paper above sink in bathroom, this room needs some SERIOUS updating, especially if it is the "presidential suite". Everything worked, I stayed 2 nights, basically it as your average holiday inn. Room needs some repairs/updating, there are newer HIE's to stay at, with staff just as nice. Basically if your in Fenton, it is just ok. Nothing great, but nothing horrible. March 24, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Must have been a frat hazing night at this hotel! I have not had such a loud, obnoxious, and continuously disturbing night in an IHG property in years! I would expect this sort of nonsense from a lower quality chain. Too bad the suite I was upgraded to did not have double or triple sound-proofing. Two or three busloads of teens racing up and down halls, slamming doors, screaming, playing loud music when all I wanted after a 14 hour work day was a little peace and quiet. I called the desk to complain three times that night and had to go out in the hall and request that the teens please consider other guests who had to work. The desk staff did come up repeatedly. I am sure I was not the only guest put out by this horde of poorly mannered teenagers. Breakfast a fiasco -- picked over would be a understatement. I will not be back in this hotel in this lifetime. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for Joggers This property is predictably the same, and I like that when I travel. I go for the top floor, and my room has always been quiet. The parking is close to the doors no matter where you go, and that's convenient if you're there for several days. The breakfast area at first seems small but there's always a spot, and it's always kept clean. If you want to hike or jog, it takes about three blocks to get to the side streets but then there are plenty of wooded trail areas that can keep you busy for hours. March 7, 2014

When you stay for more than one night and are on company business this really makes things hard to explain when doing expenses!!! If this does not change I will likely not stay here again! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Honeymoon Suite I could not find very much info on the Honeymoon suite before we stayed so I will write some. Our room was right next to the elevator on the 3rd floor, however we never once heard it or anyone around it. And this was a night when a teen hockey team was staying on our floor. Whisper quite in the room. There was a few gaps in the door while closed but it didn't bother us because the bedroom is far away from the door. The honeymoon suite is a very large hotel room with a kitchen, living room, separate bedroom with door and a huge bathroom with stand up shower and a heart shape jacuzzi tub. The tub filled very slowly but we had plenty of hot water. Also a tv/DVD player above the tub but it was too high up to see it comfortably. We also enjoyed the fireplace. Good breakfast with ham, eggs, biscuits and gravy, pancakes and more. The staff was very polite and friendly. February 12, 2014

This visit our room seemed smaller than normal and it was a little noisy since we were next to the pool atrium. The noise wasn't that bad especially with our heater running but we were very aware that the ape sounding children in the pool were having a good time. The staff were very helpful and friendly . The breakfast was good for a free breakfast. It would be nice to have a few dairy free options though. February 4, 2014

The policy changed and on this visit a bottle of water and a small package of trail mix were provided. Really was looking forward to those beers after a long days drive. January 7, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Honeymoon suite is no honeymoon!! I rented an executive suite with jacuzzi for my daughters and rented the honeymoon suite for my husband and I. My daughter's room wasnt too bad as it looked as tho it had been recently remodeled other than the old ratty furniture still being used. The honeymoon suite was disgusting and not at all something romantic for anyone. Immediately upon entering...the musty smell slapped us in the face. The carpet was old and stained, the kitchen countertop was all broken and chipped, the furniture was ancient and worn, the ceiling was falling down and looked like it had been poorly patched, the sinks were stopped up, and the red heartshaped jacuzzi was half white from scum. Not impressed. Would NEVER stay again. Yuck!!! January 1, 2014

We were greeted coldly, given a room and asked, with a doubtful voice, if I wanted a water and crackers....previously, this was a welcome and thanks for being a member reward! The room was over heated, the bathroom was missing several amenities and breakfast was much less than expected. Cinnamon rolls were cold, bacon was undercooked and coffee was not kept filled. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Junior Suite with great service We stayed in the junior suite with our 2.5 year old and it is a great option for parents to chose this room if they only have one kid. Having him in a separate room with the twin bed made the experience easier because we didn't have to worry about him in a large bed and sharing the room. Ciara at the front desk was so nice and provided us with information of the area. If there was a con, it had to be the toilet. It is very loud. You definitely wake up if someone flushed which isn't good when you want a toddler to sleep. And then the pool area. It's great to have an indoor pool but mid day, say 11-12 pm I saw a street clothed man throwing rocks or something into the pool. I asked the front desk people about him and I got blank looks and one older lady gave me a look like "why am I asking?" I think pool maintenance should be done when the pool is closed with a sign on the door saying "being cleaned" or something. Otherwise it looks peculiar. We visit St. Louis 2-3 times a year and we may stay here again. December 18, 2013
