This is not our first stay at this property, but probably our last. We were greeted coldly, given a room and asked, with a doubtful voice, if I wanted a water and crackers....previously, this was a welcome and thanks for being a member reward! The room was over heated, the bathroom was missing several amenities and breakfast was much less than expected. Cinnamon rolls were cold, bacon was undercooked and coffee was not kept filled.

Staff was very friendly but the quality of the inn is not up to what I expect of the Holiday Inn.

I am a very light sleeper, easily woken by sounds and movements during the night, then having difficulty falling asleep yet the Holiday Inn Fenton was very quiet and comfortable. Definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed in the junior suite with our 2.5 year old and it is a great option for parents to chose this room if they only have one kid. Having him in a separate room with the twin bed made the experience easier because we didn't have to worry about him in a large bed and sharing the room.
Ciara at the front desk was so nice and provided us with information of the area.
If there was a con, it had to be the toilet. It is very loud. You definitely wake up if someone flushed which isn't good when you want a toddler to sleep. And then the pool area. It's great to have an indoor pool but mid day, say 11-12 pm I saw a street clothed man throwing rocks or something into the pool. I asked the front desk people about him and I got blank looks and one older lady gave me a look like "why am I asking?" I think pool maintenance should be done when the pool is closed with a sign on the door saying "being cleaned" or something. Otherwise it looks peculiar.
We visit St. Louis 2-3 times a year and we may stay here again.

We got an older room at this HI Express but it was still immaculate and comfortable. The breakfast was good, as usual. The shower was great. We are always pleased with HIX.

The bed I slept on was one of the worst nights sleep I had as it was uncomfortable. The bed was just too firm but yet provided no back support. Plus the room just seemed outdated.

What a pleasant experience! Great service, amenities, location, and price. We took advantage of the work out room, fabulous hot breakfast bar. Next time we will utilize the pool. Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. We will return to this hotel again and higly recommend it.

IN MOST AREAS THAT IS CLEAN AND NICE . WE HAVE WALKED OUT OF A LOT OF THEM. YOU CAN ALMOST ALWAYS
COUNT ON HOLIDAY INN . THE PRICE SHOULD BE A LITTLE
LESS FOR SENIOR CITIZEN .
THE BEDS ARE GREAT WE ALWAYS WORRY ABOUT BUGS
BUT WE HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH HOLIDAY INN.
THE BREAKFAST WAS REAL GOOD AND ITS FUNNY BUT WE HAD A HOTEL STAFF TELL US ONE TIME THAT YOUR CHEEPER
HOTELS ARE THE ONES THAT SERVE BREAKFAST.
THAT WAS IN THE ST LOUIS AREA........CAN YOU BELIEVE
WE ENJOYED THE STAY SEE YOU NEXT TIME.......

We stayed here for three nights while in St. Louis for our son's wedding. The hotel staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean which is a big deal to me! The lobby was a great place for our family to visit and to work on table decorations for the reception. We would stay here again.

The room staff was kind and helpful and the front desk clerk was nice. You need shoes and socks to go to the breakfast area, so keep that in mind and pack something other than sandals. Overall, a good stay in a clean hotel.

The entrance to hotel was a little confusing but once there the stay went well. The staff was courteous and friendly. The only problem was with the excess height of the bed. I‘m handicapped and getting into bed was painful.

Complimentary beverages upon evening of check-in were a pleasant surprse as were the cookies available late afternoon and evenings.

My husband and I only stayed one night for Fright Fest but it was one of the best experiences we had at a hotel. When we checked in the front desk girls were super friendly we were even joking are around about how to pronounce our last name. The room was clean and everything in its place. The bed was super comfortable. We didn't use the pool but it looked really nice. The breakfast was good we went down kinda late and it seemed like there was a rush of people so go early. We loved the location it was close enough to six flags and Lone Elk Park where we went the next day. I would totally recommend this hotel!

Many hotels are now pet friendly and we can't stay there.

I'd recommend that when you stay here you skip the room with the sleeper sofa----it's impossible to sleep on because you feel each and every spring. Go for the room with two queen beds. Fortunately we had only one child with us, and she curled up in between us, so it worked out.
Also,...if you're expecting an amazing breakfast, go to IHOP. The eggs are not worth mentioning. There was link sausage, pretty good biscuits, (have butter and jelly on them---trust me...#, bagels, toast, English muffins, boiled eggs #this is the way to go if you want eggs here#, cereal, milk, juice, yogurt, juices #machine wasn't working right and the attendant went out of her way to get my child a nice glass of juice---in fact she was doing her absolute best with all she had to work with--kudos to her!!#, and cinnamon rolls#not bad). The fresh fruit consisted of bananas,...which disappointed my daughter, but hey,...they're not running a restaurant. We went away full, and it was very fast.
The pool is tiny,...and we were grateful to have it. Our daughter enjoyed herself immensely in it.
The room was clean and spacious, the refrigerator worked so well it froze our lettuce. The jetted tub was so clean I didn't feel weird about taking a bath---enjoyed that too.
The staff was extremely courteous and went out of their way to help us locate our favorite restaurant in an unfamiliar city.
We will definitely stay here next time we are in St. Louis!

The Holiday Inn Express in Fenton during my star was clean, comfortable, and had a friendly staff - as one traveling would want and expect from a hotel.
I would highly recommend this facility for anyone traveling through or to the St Louis area.

We just spent one night at this property while visiting relatives in the area, and we found the room to be very clean, stylish, and comfortable. The air conditioner worked well (sometimes a problem at hotels), the pillows were great, and I felt like I could walk on the carpet without footwear (sometimes carpets are dirty.)
The only negatives about the place would be that the carpet in our room needed to be restretched, and I thought the breakfast eggs and sausage looked unappetizing--perhaps it was more a matter of presentation than quality--because I usually do enjoy eating those at breakfast.; however, there were a number of other items available to instead eat.
If we happen to stay here again, I will ask for a room away from the elevator. There were a couple of loud, laughing groups coming off the elevator that made going to sleep difficult.
This hotel personnel were nice and our stay comfortable. Overall, I'm glad we chose this property and won't hesitate to stay here again.

We enjoyed staing here. We have stayed at other HI in the area and this was a real pleasure. The staff greeted us with our choice of beverage, water, soda, or of course Budweiser products! We choose the Bud products....beats water any day! Rooms were spacious, clean, and ready when we needed them. We will stay here again!

I brought my mom and brother to St. Louis to visit relatives. I chose the Fenton Holiday Inn Express due to location and stays at other sister hotels. We were greeeted with a warm welcome. Barb had given me the perfect choice of our room. The breakfast was excellent and Kevin was friendly and made sure everything was well stocked. He became a friend. We had to stay three days longer because of my mom's illness. We moved to another room which was also nice, clean and quiet. All the staff knew about my mom and expressed their concerns. Our stay was just perfect. Hopefully, we can return to St. Louis (Fenton) next year for my mom's 93rd birthday. We will definately be staying at this hotel. The only thing that i would say as a negative would be that there should be more lighting in the rooms.
Great job, staff at the Fenton Holiday Inn Express. Angie, the housekeeper made swans out of towels and made us smile when we walked in the room.

This was our first visit to this hotel. Everything went very smoothly. Check-in was prepared, even though we arrived early in the afternoon. The room was properly cleaned and stocked.
The front desk staff was courteous, friendly and well informed about local dining choices.
