Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet and Comfortable We only booked a day ahead and got a pleasant room on the 4th floor . The elevator worked well and the outside noises did not disturb us. We had a pleasant dinner near by and breakfast was in the hotel and available as we needed it. A good stay after a long drive. October 26, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable stay I was surprised by how extremely comfortable the bed was. I'm not a good sleeper and yet I slept soundly all through the night. The room was clean and the temperature was easily adjustable. I stayed in my room a lot as I had a pile of work to do, so I appreciate the quiet and the comfort. October 23, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quick and comfortable overnight stop Traveling to New England from the Midwest requires some overnight stays along the way. This hotel was a pleasant and restful option right off the freeway and within striking distance of destination for the following morning. We could have easily done NYC from here as well. The hotel was a typical HI Express, and by that I am saying it is a very good option for moderate budgets and those not expecting an "event stay." Everything was clean, modern, working, comfortable, and reliable. Now, if the chain could only find a way to make the hot food at breakfast a little more appealing and tasty. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good location/Musty Smell This property seems relatively new and/or updated. Room was spacious & well furnished. Bathroom also very nice & breakfast is always a nice addition. Only problem was a strong musty smell in our room. We noticed it right away upon entering the room but didn't asked to be moved, thinking they all smelled this way. In the morning we realized that the air conditioner had leaked considerable water onto the carpet. This must have been going on for some time & caused the smell, so hopefully its not the case in all rooms. Location was great - able to explore the Hudson Valley & up to Stockbridge, Mass using small country roads, but close enough to make it to Newark airport in a little over an hour when it was time to leave. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and great service The Manager and staff were extremely helpful. My A/C did not work in my room (it was intermittent). Since I was on the 4th floor, I was able to sleep with the windows opened. They greeting us every time we returned to the hotel by name. The beds were very comfortable and clean. I already made reservations to stay there in a few months. October 17, 2014
