Electrical outlets idid not work in bathroom. Breakfast room small, menu choices limited. Room Price expensive for property. Would never stay there again. Hotel not up to Holiday Inn Standards. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great night, not so great morning Our day manager was excellent, let us check in a little early, and was really friendly. The room was fine. Clean and comfortable. However in the morning our room smelled like someone had been smoking cigarettes. Housekeeping banged on our door at 9:15 and woke us up, and they were LOUDLY vacuuming either right next to or above us before 10am. Not a great experience. October 8, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Fifty-fifty We were visiting Poughkeepsie for my daughter's Parent's Weekend, but I didn't book early enough to stay at the Holiday Inn Express there, which is where we normally stay. I had to stay at the Holiday Inn Fishkill. I was pleased with this hotel. The rooms were nicer than the ones in Poughkeepsie (although they also may have been updated) and they have a nice pool and hot tub. The hotel is attractive. I didn't think the offerings at breakfast were very good; very average. The worst part of our stay was the shower heads. They should remove them. They have very weak flow, it is considered a spa shower head, but they are terribly inadequate and it took forever to finish my shower. The staff was very professional and very nice. It would not be my first choice because it is so out of the way when we stay in Poughkeepsie, but this is a nice hotel. I am just hoping the shower heads in Poughkeepsie weren't changed. It is very convenient to the Beacon MetroNorth Train into the city. Red-Line Diner across the way is a nice asset. Pool was too cold for a swim. September 16, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by experience our bed was comfortable and we both had a good nights sleep. my husband and i who go to the gym everyday were disappointed with the workout room.....2 treadmills and a bike. i also noticed and informed the front desk of the condition of the bathroom. the sheetrock had pulled away from the wall where the shower faucets are. The room itself spotless & comfortable. The front desk personnel, Nancy, Catie & Yanki were professional & accomodating. James was quite personable too & helpful too. The only thing is someone needs to work on the key cards, many times they don't open the door, but I would call downstairs & they always had someone come up & open it for me. Plenty to do in the area, great fun. I'll be back!!! August 19, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by One Night Getaway The room was pleasant and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very accommodating when I asked for extra towels and toiletries. The pool area was nice too - my kids loved splashing around in the water. The view from the pool to the parking not is not that great - maybe some landscaping outside could improve that. Overall, a great stay and we would come back! August 5, 2014
