Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Construction noise Due to the renovations, the hotel was a wreck. I understand the need for renovations so I am glad they are underway. However, the room was nice and clean. The staff was great and understood the construction concerns. The chips at the front provided a great snack. The indoor/outdoor pool was too cold to swim (January). The only reason I would not recommend the hotel is the ongoing renovations in early 2015. In a few months, the renovations should be complete and the hotel will be a great stay in Flagstaff. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Left stranded,overcharged We arrived by train, called an hour ahead of anticipated arrival time as requested, yet the shuttle was not there to pick us up. On our return trip, we stayed again.It took 35 minutes to check in. We were overcharged for our second stay. I called several times for answers on why I was charged double and each time I was told someone would call me back shortly. No one ever called. It took 10 days for my card to be refunded the overcharge. When I asked why I was charged for an additional night, I was told it was because housekeeping reported finding luggage in the room. General manager was rude and failed to make any attempt to resolve the issues. Would not recommend this hotel. January 19, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Deeply Disappointed We have been frequent travelers and try to stay in Holiday Inns as was in this case during our year end vacation. However were disappointed with overall quality of service during our stay this time. While it is understandable to have staff crunch during Xmas days, the expectation of at least the minimum services on other (non festive) days was not fulfilled. The breakfast was of good quality as always, however mostly was too crowded and even had to move a couple of times to an alternate location (supposedly a conference room!) after standing few minutes for a table to get seated. Another sincere suggestion to the property management would be to avoid any construction activities during the busy holiday season days and at least provide some discount in room rates and services (or even extra reward points to IHG club members) to the guests who had to endure the inconvenience during construction activity. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable stay with some issues We were surprised, upon our arrival, that the hotel was under construction. There were wet floor and wet paint signs everywhere, along with caution tape. It would have been nice to have known before we checked in. The first room we were given would have had a gorgeous view of the mountains, however our keys didn't work. We were then reassigned to another room, this time with a view of the freeway as well as an annoying orange light right outside the window. The second night here, we had another issue with our keys not working. This time they just gave us new keys. The best part was the breakfast bar. Overall, it was a nice room. January 12, 2015
