If I knew this property was under construction, I would not have booked a reservation! Listing construction on your website is good policy and shows that you truly care about your customers. In this case, the smell of drywall dust sickened me.
My room was old, but clean. No soundproofing. My room faced the interstate, constant noise all evening.
Also, it would be nice to have a choice of feather or foam pillows.

We stayed in the Flagstaff branch last week, and I'm so glad we did. Despite the current remodel, our room was spotless, the bed obviously new (the quality of the bed was beyond even most of the other HI-E's I've stayed in lately), and the features in the bathroom were obviously quite new and improved. There was NO DUST ANYWHERE, and I have severe asthma, so that was a huge relief. The only thing that slightly blemished our stay was the fact that the baby next door started crying early in the morning, but hotel staff was very courteous about the whole affair, and resolved it quickly.
Loved it, and would stay again, remodel or no!

My family & I love staying at holiday Inn Express, anywhere we go its what we looks for. We have never had a problem here, until this stay!!
First the hotel in under construction, not a big deal but there was not warning let us know this before our stay.
At check in the 2 front desk clerks were complaining about another guests, and had me wait to check in so they could continue to complain about this guest. Not a good first impression AT ALL.
Passed all that our room was so small you could hardly move and feel comfortable. the pool was an inside outside pool and it was freezing!! not heated like we thought since it was open and WINTER!!! The work out room was an even bigger joke, 3 treadmills in a closet size room with a mirror!!! NEVER WILL I STAY HERE AGAIN!!!
