Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Unassuming hotel very well run Lots of TLC present here. Efficient and caring staff who are working hard to ensure a very well run hotel. My goodness they even have a bird feeder and bath outside to look after the winged guests !!!! Just thought it was a symbol of this hotel and they way they operate. If I could voice one request it would be for a more modern exercise bicycle in the little gym. August 30, 2015

Apples from Hendersonville are some of the best I have ever eaten, The produce and Holiday Inn Express at Hendersonville-Flat Rock did not disappoint. The motel stay was pleasant as expected. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Cleanliness didn't match the amount paid This room was very expensive for the value offered. The pool was closed for cleaning on a Saturday night. It was very loud outside of our door. The room wasn't properly cleaned after our first night stay. They didn't clean the hot tub. The bed was half made. The room wasn't vacuumed. Our refrigerator was cracked open upon returning for the 2nd night stay. The front desk was attentive. I was provided a bottle opener as soon as I asked for it and the gentlemen at the front desk was very nice. Another front desk employee did come and help us with the operation of the television. Overall, the bad outweighed the good on our trip. However, my complaints are 100% correctable. I blame management for not communicating their expectations better to their employees and not having a quality assurance plan in place that could be properly implemented. When a hotel demands the rates I paid, that hotel needs to be on top of their game. The money you got from me wasn't earned. I deserve an apology and a refund. August 18, 2015
