To me and my husband, our overall experience staying there is more than a 10. The room, bathroom, especially the staff were excellent, and the overall first impression of the inside layout was very impressive. I inadvertently made a booking error, which prevented one of the rooms from being available as desired. Lately he has been training new folks, but still has a smile and kind words for those of us who step into his lobby. The girls that work the breakfast area take ownership and pride in their area too. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable, water pressure powerful and the price is right...what's not to love? May 19, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Right off of i95 I95 was backed up. This hotel is right off the exit. It was clean. There aren't any restaurants close by. Just fast food. It was expensive for the area. I don't know why the front desk attendant was trying to fix the elevator, answer phones and check people in all at once.. What a disaster! It was clean and we needed to sleep. Staff wasn't so friendly. April 23, 2014

Had not stopped in this area for many years. Will never again. No family style restaurants in the area for 8 miles.We do not do Mc Donalds or Burger King. February 14, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Second Strike Arrived after a 10 hour drive; front desk clerk polite and accommodating; did not offer any Priority Club welcome. Got to room and found bed sheet was stained; seat cushion of chair had large stain on both sides; floor not vacuumed. Got new sheet from from desk clerk who apologized and offered 1000 extra points. This is our second stay at this location where the cleanliness of the room was less than Holiday Inn standards. Very disappointed. January 31, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good Stopover It was our first stopover southbound. We requested a crib and it was already in the room which was appreciated. The check-in experience was great but turned into a small disappointment: I was duly acknowledged as a Gold member and offered to draw a 'poker' chip from a bag. The guy said that every color wins except the black one #free this or that, or extra 500-1,000 points, etc.#. This started out as a cool experience until I - of course - drew the black one and got nothing. I was actually disappointed. I recommend that they reworked this game so that the expectations are that you will probably *not* win and then perhaps win, as opposed to building up the expectations that other way around and cause disappointment. Perhaps just tell the guests that some chips win and some don't. I know it's not a big deal but that's what I remember. Otherwise, the stay was OK; decent hotel, nice staff, good location. The only con is that the heating system was too loud. January 8, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Very noisy stay Compared to other Holiday Inn Express stays, this wasn't one of the best. We booked through IHG, but still had to fill out info upon check in. As IHG members, we have been presented water, snacks etc at check in, but nothing here. The hotel was clean and appeared to be well taken care of, which was nice. The room was as advertised. However, there seemed to be noise from everywhere. We could hear people in the room next to us, hallway, noise outside and the toilet was very loud. It was not a restful night's sleep. The continental breakfast was below average for what we've experienced at other Holiday Inn Express stays. The cost seemed high as well. January 2, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by HUNGRY? Don't stop here... This hotel NEEDS a restaurant. There is not a suitable restaurant that is convenient to its location. The chaos of the construction is enough to make the drive a little further down the road very worth while...and there is food there!! Arrived late in the evening...1st rooms refrigerator was not in working order...2nd room had not been cleaned...3rd room was an upgrade and was perfect...thank goodness, I was thinking I had to leave in the dark. I traveling with a special needs child so healthy, safe food is an essential need...but I couldn't find it here. :( October 18, 2013
