We enjoyed our first night stay. But the next night the room next too us was unreasonably loud. We called down to front desk and complained. People were running, yelling, bouncing off the walls.... She said she would come up. Well evidently, she says she called them. And her solution was " they are having a slumber party so please understand!!"
Seriously! We were on the 3 rd floor, I can't imagine if anyone was in the room under them.
Next morning we counted 13 people coming out of the room and at breakfast, and there were still more in the room. I the asked the front desk gentlemen how many people are allowed in a room and he said depending on size of room no more then 4-5.
I then proceeded to tell him about the night before and how many people and that the girl on the night shift said " they were having a slumber part?" He was quite surprised as holiday inn doesn't allow such a thing for their rooms.
Our conclusion was either the girl at night knew the people and let them in, or they rented the room and snuck everyone else in the back door.
So needless to say the last night was not very enjoyable!!!!

We were very impressed with the look, cleanliness and amenities. Kids loved the indoor pool and we all enjoyed the variety of breakfast choices. We stayed on 3rd floor and had no problem with smoke. I do agree with the previous comment about being met with smoke from smokers as you walk out the door. Wish they had a designated area away from front door.
This will definitely be my first choice of hotels in the area in the future - great value

A large party was in the room(s) next to us and across from us on a Saturday night. Why would you do that? Needless to say, they partied (with young children) until 3:00 AM. Also needless to say, we got a very poor nights sleep. Loud talking, doors slamming, etc. all night. When you have a large group check in (especially on a Friday or Saturday) , doesn't that send a signal to put them away from other guests?

Clean, quite, comfortable and conviently located close to shops and restaurants. My favorite place to stay when I am able to visit my home town.

This hotel is super clean, quiet, and convenient to all activities at UNA or day trips in the quad cities area of NE Alabama.
The staff met our every request with a cheerful smile.
The rooms are super clean and up-to-date in style appointments.
The hotel was safe and fun for our family, with keyed entrance to the pool and other areas. The children especially liked the little "store" in the lobby and the heated indoor pool.
Breakfast was generous, hot, and fresh.
Great place for families and anyone who would like a quiet, relaxing getaway.
