Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff After a long day of travel, I just wanted to rest. Thankfully, a wonderful guest agent named Ernest went out of his way to make sure my stay was perfect. He even went to check out the room I was assigned to ensure it met the specific requests I had given. To top it all off, he had a friendly and pleasant attitude the entire time! The room was great. The breakfast was good. The staff, especially Ernest, was fantastic. Thank you for showing how customer service should be done! November 9, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Almost Five Stars The staff was fantastic! Jessica had a very difficult job during a weekend of a very large local event trying to keep breakfast well-stocked. She remained cheerful throughout! The only thing that kept this weekend from five stars what the fact that the pool was way too cold and the hot tub/jacuzzi did not work! VERY disappointing!!! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A good, comfortable place to stay. Overall, this is a very good H/I Express. The suite was roomy and beds provided excellent night's sleep. The staff was especially friendly and helpful. There were a couple of maintenance issues and one TV anomaly that I found a bit curious, and irritated my spouse. There was a minor plumbing issue. For some reason, the bathroom commode was flushing with very hot water and the bathroom sink had no cold water, only hot and warm. The staff made a note of it, and likely addressed it during the following work week. There was also a defective food heating cabinet, which left all the breakfast entrees cold. The attendant had to heat individual plates of food in a microwave. The TV issue was a strange one. The cable package provided did not have any PBS station or Hispanic channel. The lack of PBS was a new one on me. The lack of any Spanish channels Is something I might expect in the North, but in the heart of South Texas it was a very curious anomaly, one which left my Mexican Spouse more than a little irritated. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service / Bad Maintenance I stayed at Holiday Inn of Floresville while on a recent business trip. The hotel was heavily booked due to the event I was attending but the front desk staff and Manager did a great job of handling the influx of traffic. Maintenance was a different story however...the first room I received did not have a working shower and the second did not have a functioning AC. The front desk was very accommodating during these problems and helped me to get a shower and a room with an Air Conditioner but it was very inconvenient to be moving rooms multiple times at 11 o'clock at night.
