Poor sleep, mattress was like sleeping on a piece of canvis. I also think your is over priced.

This wasn't one of the nicest Holiday Inn Express's that I have stayed in. The lobby was very nice but was disappointed by the time we got to the elevator and to our floor. Room look old and dingy. The worst part of the room was the lumpy uncomfortable beds. The rooms weren't very sound proof either. You could hear kids running up and down the hall, doors slamming and people in their rooms. Luckily the noise died down by 10:00pm.

The service at this Holiday Inn was great. I was there for a long stay and the room was small, but adequat. I only complaint is the bed. The mattress i think needed to be replaced and the pillow top sheet they added to the top had some sort of plastic liner in it and I felt like I was sleeping on plastic. Into the night because of this the sheets would stick to you.
The breakfast was very good and the staff was great.

reserved 2 rooms and one was a suite. first room was still not cleaned at 5 pm got another room. the suite did not compare to other holidays. the day bed mattress was filthy and worn asked for another mattress and they said nothing avail. finally we said what about one from another room, they agreed to if no one checked in by 7:30. there was no sheets or pillows and they had to locate same. latter we asked for a blanket, answer was everyone is gone etc, again we said go to another room. I do not belive the front desk were trained in customer service.... i also sent a note to the priority club directly....

Was disapointed in the Holiday Inn Express Breakfast Selection. It isn't this particular Inn's fault the whole chain at the HIE's we stayed at had the same menu. The Oat meal was in a bag. You had to add hot water. Why not make up a batch and offer a few toppings!! Here we were in Flordia and the watered down Orange Juice was terrible. No fresh fruit. Why not an OJ and Grapefruit combination.

The mattress on the bed was bad. My husband's side had a hole that he feel into. He slept poorly as a result. Also found it expensive.

This does not appear to be a purpose built Holiday Inn. Normal conversations from adjacent rooms and hallways can be heard in your room. The TV system was disappointing with very limited selection of channels. Breakfast was ok and similar to other Holiday Inns. We waited about 5 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk when we arrived. Apparently only one employee was on the premises and he had multiple duties. Not terrible but far from Holiday Inn standard.

We stayed here during our trip to the Everglades and the Keys in Feb, 2013. Room and staff were great. The rates were good for the location. Also, location was Excellent, right down the road from
Everglades Nat'l Park, 30 mins. from Key Largo and 3 hrs to Key West! Overall we enjoyed our stay the room was clean, as were the carpets. The staff was great and room was peaceful!

We were in a handicapped room but it was way too far from the elevator and the inside floor of shower/tub was too slippery.Overall it was not anywhere near the standards you normally have.

The beds were not comfortable. There was some sort of a pillow top on the mattress which bunched up and was very uncomfortable. The mattress were too soft and should be replaced. The entire hotel needs to be updated and given a through cleaning.
I also left my pillow. It was returned to me via Airmail Fedx at a cost of almost $47.00. To say I am upset is an understatement.

We have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express Hotels and have had great stays. This hotel must have been a older one with a facelift.
our door to our room would not open all the way because it drug on the carpet.....the hallways are narrow, bathrooms small, elevator slow. And if you need to use the restroom in the lobby you have to get the key from the front desk.
All in all not what we have come to expect from this company.

This hotel is very out of date, and while I was there for (4) days the north entrance to the hotel hall way was broken with no outside door knob. The plumbing did not drain well or the toilet did not flush good.

I stay in this hotel 4 times yearly and the only reason is the location (next to nurseries in Homestead).
Unfriendly reception; non aware on any status on Priority Club; No free water (sorry; we ran out of water...), bad smelling rooms.
Breakfast good however and there is a pool.
The very young reception staff never heard of the word service I think.
And yet; will come again, but hope to see some friendlier staff and refurbished rooms!

Breakfast was a total disaster. It appeared that only one person was working, and he simply could not keep the food restocked. When eggs and bacon finally were brought out, they were not fully cooked.

Although the location is excellent when you want to visit the Everglades NP, Biscayne NP or the Florida Keys the hotel itself is rather average.
During our stay the breakfast service was way below average. Long lines and no food or coffee available.
We ended up having breakfast at Denny's on the other side of the road.
The beds we quite well which is basically the most important thing for a hotel.

The stay was comfortable but it was pricey when compared to other places. I guess it is the demand in that area.
The breakfast had limited choices, some stuff was not replenished fast. I would have loved to see more fruit. The equipment in the fitness room was very old and not working properly.

Super nice motel. The only thing I would like to see different is the gentleman that takes care of the breakfast items wear gloves when he handles the food. Other than that zero complaints. I'm not complaining just making an observation.

This hotel was Excellent - booked it last minute since we were disgusted by Indigo in Miami.
We were NOT happy about the Hotel Indigo & found this on online with NASCAR in town we weren't sure why this was available but were we Pleasantly surprised when we arrived - It's a nicely appointed, Excellently staffed hotel with not one thing wrong.
Everything was PERFECT!!!!! Absolutely Perfect!!
It's right at the entrance to the Keys so after the race we were able to take a ride to our favorite restaurant in Key Largo. I just can't say enough nice things about this hotel.
I have alleriges & even with the carpet I had NO problem. This place is Very Clean
Skip the Hotel Indigo in Miami you'll be happier here!!!!

We had a good experience in that hotel, it was pretty quiet, and the rooms were comfortable. The location is very practical, near the Everglades and the Keys. We had a wheelchair accessible room well equipped, everything was really accessible, and there is a lot of space to move around in a wheelchair. However the elevator is pretty slow.

My 10-year-old daughter and I went to Homestead to visit old friends and stayed for one night. We got there at 6:00 PM ordered pizza delivery, watched a family movie and relaxed. The staff was great. We went to the front desk numerous times for plastic utencils, fresh baked cookies, etc. The help at breakfast was great too. We planned to use the fitness center in the morning before heading home. I even asked about the fitness center when I made my reservation as it was a prioroity. The equipment was not even usable. One treadmill was out of order. The other, too short to run on and stuck at an incline. I unplugged the machine to "reboot it" but it didn't work out. The stationary bike was a joke too. I didn't bother to use the elyptical, by that point I had given up. It wouldn't take much for the company to purchase and maintain a couple of good items.

You can't go wrong with Holiday Inn Express. My husband and I have stayed here twice this year and service couldn't be better. Our room was clean and comfortable; and the complimentary breakfast was great! Will stay here again! Thanks!
