The front desk staff at this hotel is excellent! Very friendly & helpful and much appreciated after a long day of cancelled flights and frustrations. They checked us in quickly & efficiently and then offered directions to nearby restaurants all within easy walking distance.

From the front desk staff to the valet, employees at the Holiday Inn Express were always available with courteous suggestions and directions. This hotel is definitely worth the cost.

I had a quick trip to NY and my stay at the LGA Holiday Inn Express was excellent. The staff was very courteous and always willing to help. By far, the reliable shuttle service provided by the hotel was excellent and always at my disposal, ie., taking me to and from the subway system and to the airport. Overall, a very good experience and I will stay at the hotel again in the future.

During check in it was raining hard and I was told by Christina that a good restaurant nearby which I could drive to was the "Parkside" Italian restaurant. I mentioned a Colombian restaurant and she said she had not eaten there. The "Parkside" was very good in all ways including having parking. Thank you Christina.

We really enjoyed our stay. Its convenient location near the airport (and with shuttle service to LGA) made it ideal for our short trip to NYC! In trying to give directions to the place, however, I ran into a little bit of trouble. On the website it is listed as being in Flushing, NY, when technically on maps it is in Corona, NY. Caused a little mixup in the cab, but once we got that sorted out it was smooth sailing.

The hotel was very clean and nice. Breakfast was excellent and had a lot of yummy choices! The free shuttle was nice for someone going to and from the airport. The rooms were small and the toilet ran all night beside a noisy highway so bring earplugs. Overall, great choice!

I would highly recommend this property. I generally choose to book a room at a hotel in Manhattan, but had business in Queens this trip and chose the Holiday Inn Express. I was able to easily get around using the shuttle service provided by the hotel. You can take the shuttle both to/from the airport saving cab fare. The shuttle also visit the subway stop near the mall which provides subway service all over Manhattan (including Times Square). The breakfast was your standard hotel provided breakfast. The room was clean and well-equipped.

I travel 100% in my line of work and I usually stay in Holiday Inn Express locations, I love the consistency that they offer.
At this location my decision was reinforced.
I left my laptop power cable at the room and did not notice this until later in the day, when I was at the airport and decided to get some work done while I waited on my plane. I called the HIE, they checked, found my cord and immediately sent the cord to me, at the airport via the shuttle that they run. They did not have any guests that needed a ride, only my wayward laptop cable. I had it within 15 minutes of calling them. I can't recommend this location, and this hotel chain, strongly enough. They are not just a place to stay, they are my home away from home and they care about their guests.
Thanks to all at the location for compensating for my lapse that day!!!

When I arrived in my room it reaked of smoke and there were two empty six packs in my closet. The hall to my room was freezing it felt as if there was no heat. The staff moved my room and were very apologetic but it was quite an inconvenient after a long travel and you just want to relax. I will not stay at this hotel again my second bad experience I should have learned the first time when they were renovating and using loud tools in my hallway until about 10pm. Not a great experience I will stick to another chanson which has been consistently good to me.

I had to be picked up by the shuttle from the rental car facility and the driver arrived right on schedule to take me to the hotel. The hotel check in was seamless and the staff were upbeat and very friendly. Friendly staff make such a difference. I took the 4:30 shuttle back to the airport and the driver was right on schedule.

I checked in Jan 15th about 5:30 or 6pm. The gentleman at the desk (I forgot his name) was great. Also, I received a phone call from him about 30 minutes later to see how the room was.
That is the first time I have been called at ANY hotel in my life. It was nice to know that he cared.
Great room, breakfast and service. I will be back again and staying there for all of my future visits to NY.

By far, the friendliest and most helpful front desk staff I have encountered. We needed to check in early (sometimes tough during a holiday weekend) and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. From the valet, the front desk staff, and even the sweet lady working the breakfast area, all had smiles on their faces. It is not the newest property, but the service makes up for that in a heartbeat. If you are renting a car, the location can be challenging to get to during rush hour.

The room was OK, the staff was OK. Other than that, the experience was not good.
Unless you really have to stay close to the airport (or you are so tired that no amount of noise will disturb you), avoid.
Next time, we'll stay in town, and just get up earlier to get to LGA.

We visited NYC for 4 days and opted to stay outside of Manhattan to save money. We would do it again since we probably saved $200+ per night and our stay at this Holiday Inn Express was excellent. The staff was always friendly and helpful, and they provided a free shuttle to the subway. The only issue was we sometimes had to wait 45 mins or more for a ride back from the subway in the evening. We finally cabbed it the last night for only $15 and would do that next time.

We needed a one night pit stop on the way to Philadelphia. The hotel staff was excellent meeting our needs. Rooms were tight but right for the price. They have a shuttle to the Subway but it was not as convenient as we encountered elsewhere. Overall it was a good stay for the price and purpose.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express LaGuardia for 2 nights. Chose hotel for its proximity to the airport, and shuttle transportation - both met our expectations. Special kudos go to Christina at the Front Desk, her helpfulness and great attitude enhanced our stay. Breakfast was fine, what we would expect from the brand, although the breakfast room was on a small side - not much can be done about that. The only other feedback about the breakfast - the staff was helping themselves with coffee and food while the guests were there. Normally doesn't bother me, but because the eating area is already small as it is, it added to the feeling of "too many people, not enough room".
The guest room was efficient, again on a small side, but clean. One suggestion - add a couple of shelves in the bathroom, there's nearly not enough space to put toiletries and personal items.
Overall, a great hotel, and will stay again if our travels take us to the area.

We had no issues, everything worked out great. Shuttles to and from airport were easy to use. learning the subway was the only issue. But with a map provided by hotel it all worked out fine.
