We were in New York for the funeral of a very dear friend. It was not the happiest of times.The helpful and caring staff made the situation a little easier. They were genuinely kind, from the front desk to the fellow who drove the shuttle. It made the weekend a little more bearable. We enjoyed the clean room, a particularly comfortable bed, and the convenience of breakfast in the morning. I've stayed at several Holiday Inn Express hotels and have never been disappointed. This HI Express, however, was a cut above with regard to staff and service. Thank you!

As aircrew, I stay at NY airport area hotels frequently. I loved this one: great value, clean, very courteous and conscientious staff; very good complimentary breakfast. Great and reliable van service to LGA.

This hotel is truly saved by its staff. There were a bunch of problems -- TV didn't work, water went out, the one day I had the valet, the guy pulled up with somebody else's car, handed me the keys and smiled (uhhh, no more valet after that). The breakfast was cold and typical, the hotel is in the close vicinity of...nothing, really. It's under construction, we could go on and on here, but for whatever negative point against the Holiday Inn Express LaGuardia is erased by the quality of the staff.
Love love loved it. Enough to post this message, which I never post, to ensure they get a bonus/raise, enough so Stephanie can buy her first car...and insurance. Certainly enough so I definitely would go back. This is New York hospitality.
