We had trouble finding the Hotel even with a Sat Nav, would have been easier finding it if we have the number of the road or the signs for it was more noticeable when you come from the motorway, so spent an hour going around in circles.
Once there, our stay was good, very comfortable beds and the staff gave a good service. The only criticism would be the temperature in the room, as it was early December it was cold and the heating in the room did not work, we had asked at reception, which they said they would “unlock it” but still too cold.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by jamess115 A reasonable hotel for a short stay
I stayed at this Holiday Inn Express in Folkestone for 1 night during a weekend while on a business trip and I would say that the hotel is good value for the money. The breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable. It was also very quiet at night although this could have been due to the fact that the hotel was less than half full.
A few observations: There is no way to control the heating in your room. It is automatically programmed to 'Central Heating mode' and it was cold overnight. So much so that I had to sleep with two duvets. Also the shower is very poor quality with no water pressure and the TV is no bigger than a computer monitor. Also, outside of my bedroom, there was a lorry or recycling truck doing the bins at 6a.m which woke me up. However, all in all, for the price it was a good stay and i would stay there again.

Travelled down from Staffordshire on Friday evening for Saturday morning Train. Good price for a room for 3 and a great night's sleep followed by breakfast and a quick trip to the Channel Tunnel which is right next door. Usual reliable service from Holiday Inn Express made our weekend so much easier.
