Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Stayed there many times It is a good stopping place half way to FL. We have stayed here many times both going South and returning North. We never know the price we will be charged for our same room... it varies quite a bit from the Dec. price to the March price. This year, we had a coupon which was not honored. The reason given was that it was the Sat. BEFORE Easter. If a person does not celebrate the holiday week-end, we think it was wrong to not honor the coupon. We would have saved enough to have lunch the next day. April 5, 2013

For a Holiday Inn Express I was a little disappointed, seemed more like an old Holiday Inn. The staff was extra nice though and I was only there to sleep for a few hours so it was OK. March 26, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Express, Forsyth, GA I made an online reservation, requesting a king room away from road noise and the elevator. Upon check-in, I was told the only king room was located across from the elevator. However, rooms were available away from the elevator but had only double beds. I opted for the king bed and then listened to the elevator doors opening and closing until about 2 AM. Additionally, an air blower was located in the hallway near the elevator, which ran intermittently all night long. Needless to say, I did not experience a restful night. I attribute my experience to making the reservation only 24 hours in advance. It was obvious the next morning that, because the breakfast area was fully occupied, the hotel was probably near full occupancy that night. Therefore, I would still recommend this location but advise making reservations as much in advance as possible. Management should also look into the operation of the hallway blower on the 4th floor near the elevator. Perhaps it can be adjusted to operate with less noise. March 22, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not stay here again This was NOT a good HIE experience. The room was so small the two of us had to step aside to let the other pass. When we mentioned it to the front desk, we were told that it was a converted Hampton Inn. The bathroom was the smallest I have ever been in. The lighting and mirror were good, but that was it. The toliet seat was loose so every time you sat down, you felt like you were going to fall off. The sheets felt like cheap, scratchy muslin instead of a smooth percale. When we left, we told them we would NEVER come back. We used to always use Comfort Suites, but stopped doing so as there was no consistency. We switched to HIE as we felt that they were more consistently good. However, if more HIE are going to be like Forsyth, we will need to find a new chain. March 16, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellant service The gentleman at the front desk when I checked in went above and beyond to the couple in front of me and for my check in. Thanks to the evening gentleman taking the time to look up my Priority Club number, I had the convenience of Priority Club check out. When I traveled on business years ago I held Platinum status. I know that regardless of my current staus, Holiday Inn is always great. In the morning the staff greated me with a warm "Good Morning" and wonderful breakfast assortment. The Front Desk Lady recognized another guest and gave him a hug and a heartfelt "How are you" to him. February 14, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by No ID requested for New Door Key This was a very accomodating hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms as expected from a Holiday Inn establishment. HOWEVER, being a female that travels alone alot....I was concerned that of the four nights I stayed, I had to renew my key almost daily. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not A Very Happy Customer I`am a handicapped person, was put in a room all the way up on the 4th. Floor of the facility.Do not like riding elevator`s, don`t trust them.I`am a disable United States Veteran, And I take blood thinner`s and other medication,and being that high up makes my nose bleed sometimes.Told them all of this when I check in, but they still put me up on the 4th. floor.They usually with no problem put me on the first floor,but they did not do that this time.Also, found little black ant`s crawling around in my bathroom sink both day`s I was there.On the second night I was there the manager brought up a can of bug spray to kill them,that was very nice of her to do that.But ,I think if I was the owner and head manager of the hotel, I would do a better job of keeping my motel and pest exterminated from it,where my customer`s would not see any pest`s or bug`s.Also,they was 3 cat`s running around outside and they kept putting feet print`s on my vehicles and other people vehicles too.I told the front desk about the cat`s and they told me they was stray`s and really could not do much about it..So,I`am very unhappy person about my stay at that location.The breakfest buffet each morning was great and had a lot of stuff on it.And,I love the cinnamon roll`s.But, the rest of my stay was awful. Thank You Very Much,I hope you will do something about all of what I said, do not mind writing a review of a hotel or motel,but some things really need to be corrected,before I will ever stay there again. Pet friendly and have a bag/clean up station in the parking area. Bar pub close by as are stores for drinks and snacks. Walking distance. Quiet and clean room at a fair price. January 11, 2013

Greeted with a smile, bed was comfortable, sheets were white (not gray) , every part of the interior was clean and shining. Exercise room was excellent and all the machines worked. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay We stopped at this hotel on our vacation. The room was clean & comfortable. It had a microwave & small refrigerator. The breakfast choices were great & the dining area was conveniently located right down the hall. The dog walk was in a well lit area near the parking lot & they even provided cleanup bags (although we always travel with our own) & refuse container. The only problem we had was with the bathroom vanity. The counter area was too small & the sink area was higher than a normal bath counter. We will definitely stay here again! October 22, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by normal stay I depend on HIE to be predictable with quality and comfort. I was satisfied with my recent stay. The only thing I would change about HIE is the breakfast. I, and others who frequent HIE's, agree that the eggs are weird, as if reconstituted from powder... Other than that, the breakfast is fine. If they had real eggs set out, that would be great.
