Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ft Bragg stay During my first trip to Ft Bragg a few years ago I stayed at another hotel. It was old, dirty and a poor experience. Since then, I have been to Ft. Bragg an additional 4 times. When I need a hotel, I stay at the Holiday Express. A clean, well located, and quiet experience. March 23, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by NIce weekend trip, and Holiday Inn Express was part of it We came up for the Skunk Train experience for our kids and to get away from our routine for Valentine's day weekend. It was a very good experience overall and we would recommend the hotel. The only word of caution is that the breakfast selections are pretty limited, and the hotel is smaller than the other Holiday Inn properties I've stayed at before (I'm a Gold Elite member so I've tried a few other Holiday Inn properties already over the last couple of years that I've been a member of IHG). Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The service was great and the beds were very comfortable. Based on this stay I will definitely include Holiday Inn Express in my list of places to stay overnight. February 18, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by exactly what I expected I was very tired this stay. Your front desk acted accordingly to my mind set. A young lady recognized me and was very polite while training a young man who was new but very cordial and polite. February 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best hotel in the area I travel constantly for work, and am in hotels 2-3 nights a week. I've tried every hotel in the area and this is by far the best. Soft beds, great breakfast especially compared to every other hotel in fort bragg. Price is higher than it should be but the hotel is so far above the others in this town that if you can't afford it, just skip straight to the place that rhymes with hotel shmix. February 9, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location Stayed for a few nights, and enjoyed the breakfast in the morning, just need more room for the number of people. January 4, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dog friendly Biggest perk of this hotel in the dog friendly towns of Mendocino and Fort Bragg. It is a standard quality hotel - nicer than motels, but cheaper than fancy inns that allow pets to stay. BUT - they should give their breakfast staff a raise AND more help!! Not sure if it was the holidays resulting in higher traffic, but the poor staff were swamped during the entire breakfast rush. They were very attentive, but people (and their pushy children) just don't have patience. And the breakfast space was a bit small for this frenzied visit. December 31, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Samson L. It was in December 2014. Stop here for 1 night. Less than 1 mile to Mendocino Botanic Garden. Hotel is on highway 20, few steps to highway 1. We were in Room 406. very warm and quiet room, until the refrigerator making noise in the middle of the night, even we got up and turn in off. We didn't bother the front desk because we only stayed here for one night. Breakfast area is kind of small. But the hot breakfast is very good. No problem with the parking. Internet is fine. We travel on the road over a decade. One thing we never check is the alarm clock. A previous guest set the alarm at 1am. So the alarm went off a 1 am. I think the housekeeper should ensure all alarm clock to shut it off. December 31, 2014
