The room I was given was across from a meeting room that was in full swing for the 3 days I was in town so it was loud all day long. Secondly, the door to the meeting room was left open all day and my door was about 4 feet across the hall. Not the best situation for getting any rest. I did request a first floor location but booked plenty of time ahead of my stay so I should have been told about the meeting room being used right across the hall and been given the option of another room or a different floor. The mattress was perfect and the pillow selection was too! Bathroom was clean and shower head provided a good, hot shower. April 16, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Could be better The good things for us at this hotel were the WiFi signal and the breakfast- although the service area is so small for the amount of guests, that people were even having their breakfast at the lobby. The room was visually good. When we checked in, it was OK. However, we stayed there for five days, and the carpet was never vacuumed. The third day, I intentionally left a couple of small pieces of paper by the bed, close to the room's entrance. Two days later, they were still there. Bed sheets and towels did not feel like clean either. The shower mixing valve was hard to use, too old and nonfunctional. I almost burned when taking a shower. It was very hard to sleep because the mattress and pillows were too soft - as if they had been used for too long. Finally, the access point/router location in the room, which provided excellent wifi access, was totally inconvenient, as we could hardly sleep because of its light, not to mention the microwave light as well. Two lights in front of the beds for a whole night provoked among the whole party to have not had one single good night - not for anyone of us! April 15, 2015
